As we mentioned throughout our production updates, all merch items have arrived. However, you’ve never seen them together!

Formatting
Even with life throwing hardships at our formatting mod, she is pushing through, and getting things done… just not as fast as she wishes. With the exception of the credits and table of contents, we are done with formatting the main zine, and will soon let contributors review it to see if any adjustments need to be made.
However, we have previews for you! If you have visited our kickstarter, you have seen the sneak peeks of our formatting. We can’t wait for you to see all the incredible illustrations and stories that make up the zine!
Shipping Delays
Due to the congestion at the ports, the mod team has been contemplating about changing our method of shipping for receiving the physical zines from freighttoAirmail. It’s pricier, but it’s an assured method of receiving our books faster. Once we finalize this decision, we will let you know, as this will effect how soon bundles will go out.
Overall Updates
Despite all of the offline ongoings in our life, the mod team is at work. We continue to prioritize completing the remaining loose threads, such as ordering the book. Once the zine is in production and arrives at our shipping mod’s location, all that’ll be left is to focus on packaging and shipping out everyone’s orders!
Just a quick note, since we did get a few asks concerning these!
While we are making every effort in contacting these backers to complete their survey, they will not delay the shipping process. If anything, they will be delaying their own shipments.

We are almost done, we promise! We only have 4 left, and we have been trying to reach out to these backers. If you are one of the 4, please complete your survey- we don’t want you to miss out on your goods!
Merch Updates
The last of the merch, the stickers, have been shipped to our fulfillment mod, completing all the merch for the project. We will of course provide images so you can see them in their printed glory!
The Zine & Formatting
The only part left is the zine formatting.
Unfortunately, our formatting mod had to go take care of some other family matters, and should be returning this week. This means that we are going to delay our schedule a bit longer. We expect the formatting should be finished within the next 1-2 weeks.
From there, mods and contributors will review the proof for quality checking, and then it’ll be sent off to the printers!
Shipments
As we mentioned already, we are a bit delayed in the production process, which bleeds over into fulfilment. We can’t exactly pinpoint when we will ship out orders, but we will make an announcement of when we do.
In the meantime, Backers: If there are any changes in address, please let us know as soon as possible, so we may update your information.
Leftover Sales
We have been getting a lot of questions regarding leftovers. The best answer we can provide is this:
We won’t know if we will have leftover sales for physical items until we finish shipping orders for both backers and contributors. That being said, we are for sure going to open up sales again for the PDF editions of the two zines.

We are still at 97% for completed backer surveys! We will be contacting the remaining 12 individuals so we can get this to 100%!

We have already ordered proofs for the the pencil pouches, and in the process of ordering the stickers (die-cut and sheets).

The real exciting news and bulk for this update! Both our regularandgiclee prints, along with the bookmarks have arrived!
Up next, the chain-linked enamel pins finally made it to our shipping mods place after proofs were approved!
And last for the update- all of our acrylic charms with the added holo coating we achieved via our stretch goals!
We are soo soo close to the finish line in terms of the production phase.
As mentioned, all that’s left for merch are the stickers and for the pouches to make it to our shipping mod’s place! The zine itself is also coming along nicely. Our formatting mod is hard at work creating a beautiful book for our backers.

We are almost done! We are currently at 96% for completed back surveys!

We are excited to show you the hard proofs of 2 items we have received.
The first is the chain-linked enamel pin. Look at the shiny!
The second is the giclee print that is a part of our collector’s edition bundle, In Every Universe.
Proofs Ordered
While we still wait on the final surveys, as well as those for our contributors, we did order the hard proofs (samples) for the prints and bookmark! Once we approve them, our printer will put them into production and send them to our shipping mod’s location.
Funds have finally been released, and we’re looking at our numbers now that we have an official amount to work with.
After all the Kickstarter’s fees, our official amount of funds come to $15,242.53!
However, before we can officially start ordering products, we need some final counts on how much merch we need to produce, which we’ll know after Backer Surveys.
Backerkit Surveys
Backer surveys are being sent out Monday, April 26th, so please keep an eye out in your e-mails for those! We ask that these are filled out as soon as possible, but are due on Monday, May 24.

Hi! I’m Rey (she/they) and I’m the beta mod for this zine. My brother introduced me to the amazing world of Marvel Comics in elementary school and I‘ve been an avid fan ever since. This is the first zine I’ve ever modded, but I’ve beta’d a novel and plenty of fanfiction, so I’m ready to tackle this zine with you guys!
Ardett is passionate about zine work and Marvel, making this the perfect zine for her! The X-Men comics shaped her childhood and she’s continues to enjoy the MCU movies (even though they’ve been put on a pandemic hold). She’s participated in 10 zines before as a writer and this is the 4th zine she’s modded!
- Please keep your works SFW, so anyone can enjoy this zine!
- Please only apply if you’re serious about working on the zine
- Be respectful and kind. No hate or harassment. Check people’s roles as to whether they are open to DM’s or their pronoun roles. It’s common courtesy to not be a jerk to everyone. Treat everyone with the same respect that you would like to be treated with. Slip-ups happen, and that’s understandable. If it becomes a common occurrence, however, you’ll be messaged.
- Don’t over-spam. Keep mentions to a minimum
- NSFW content should only be posted in the appropriately labelled channel
- When linking to fic or sharing snippets or summaries, use all appropriate content warnings. Include warnings for noncon, dubcon, excessive or graphic violence, underage sex, incest, character death, or anything else that might be potentially problematic for a reader
- NO SPOILERS outside of the spoiler channel. For the purposes of this server, spoilers include anything that was released in the last 30 days

WRITERS
- Samples should be 1-2k fic extracts from published/unpublished/wips for writers
- Fics for the zine should be 1-2 pages
- Poems should be 100-500 words
- Drabbles must be between 500-1500 words
BETAS
- As a beta please submit at least two fics that you’ve done beta reading for
- You will be required to beta read for 1-3 fics for the zine, depending on the ratio and how many your willing to do. This number is subject to change
- Beta reading requires:
• helping with ideas
• fixing grammar
• fixing continuity
ARTISTS
- Artist samples will require finished pieces so we know what you can do! Be sure to submit things you’re proud of!
- Artist works should be 8.5" x 11" (full page) when accompanying a fic or as a solo piece
- When accompanying a drabble or poem, it should be 4.25" x 5.5" (half a page)
MERCH
- Merch samples must be two finished pieces of art, and follows the same rules as artists
- Postcards much be 4.25" by 5.5"
- Stickers can be no bigger than 3" x 3"
- Bookmarks must be 2" x 6"
- Desktop wallpapers must be 1920 x 1080 pixels
- Phone wallpapers must be 640 x 480 pixels
- Icons must be no larger than 900 x 900 pixels and must be square
Marvel After Midnight is a Halloween Marvel themed zine! WILL IT BE PHYSICAL OR PDF
We’re currently hoping to make it available in both forms! But we’ll have to see what’s going on when we open sales. WHAT KIND OF MERCH WILL THERE BE?
If you buy a physical merch you’ll get: bookmarks, postcards, stickers and possibly buttons/pins/patches!
If you buy a digital merch you’ll get: desktop wallpapers, phone wallpapers and icons!
HOW MUCH WILL THE ZINE COST?
We’re still figuring out the exact price, but we’re estimating PDFs to be about 10$, PDFs with merch to 15$, physical copies to be about 25-30$, unsure how much physical copy & merch will be, then a bundle of everything for possibly 50$ IS THERE A SPECIFIC SETTING OR THEME?
There is! Halloween! In any of its forms, just celebrating the spooky season!
Anything that isn’t minor/adult or incestuous is okay to include!
DO WORKS NEED TO BE SHIP BASED?
Not at all! While you’re free to include whatever ships your heart desires in your work, you'realso free to not do any! It can be focused more on the characters and their adventures, a ship, or a mix. Whatever you’re wanting to create for. WHAT UNIVERSE IS THIS ZINE BASED OFF OF?
The main verse will be 616 or the comics, however we aren’t going to limit you so feel free to create for different canon or non canon universes.
CAN I COLLAB TO MAKE A SMALL COMIC?
Yes! You can also create the comic all by yourself, but you’re free to find an artist/author to make a comic with. The limit for comics is 3 pages! If needed I can also help find you partners. Once acceptances go outill make a spreadsheet with different types of work/collabs and people can give what their interested in or not doing.
IS THIS ZINE FOR PROFIT, NON PROFIT OR CHARITY?
We’re currently leaning towards for profit, but it isn’t set in stone yet! After acceptances go out there will be a poll on what the contributors would rather have the funds go to!
