Hair: Medium in length and Umber, it is parted in a way so that the thick of it falls to the right. Strands stick up here and there, it might be considered disheveled; this is done purposefully, as time is precious. It is silken to the touch.
Eyes: Burnt Orange optics with slitted pupils, much reminiscent of the dragon’s from which he is descended. Black stains the sclera where white would typically be seen.
Height: 7 Fulm, 2 Ilm ( 7′ 2″ )
Physique: Large biceps, chiseled pecs and abs. The Xaela is built from his constant efforts to remain in top shape, especially so since most of his Gil is gained protecting others or from chasing after bounties.
Dominant Hand:Right.
Posture:He tends to stand up straight and rigid, some would consider him to have a ‘stick up his ass’.
Scars:They litter his body, telling a story of a warrior. The largest one is jagged and runs along his left pectoral, stops just above his abdominal muscles.
Distinguishing Features: Unlike most Xaela, where obsidian scales would normally be present, his are cracked and flowing with lava. They are hot to the touch, though not enough where they will burn.

Hidden Amoung Shadows: There might have been a time when Kurasa wished to be seen, when he made a point to show his scales off and revel in the attention. Now, he tends to stick to the shadows or remains in his own company, oft wearing a hood to hide his features.
Flawed Moral Compass: While he may seem like any other person, Kurasa is quite capable of committing heinous acts; an example would be how he became a Dravanian Spy during the Dragonsong War. How many innocents died due to his actions? A thought that would haunt normal people, but Kurasa sleeps just fine.
Short Trigger: Perhaps it is the dragon blood that runs through his veins, perhaps he was simply borne that way, but Kurasa has an extremely short trigger when it comes to his temper. As he’s gotten older, he’s done his best to reign it in, but he will still beat heads if provoked enough.
Mistrusting to a Fault: Due to all that he has been through, Kurasa trusts none but himself. He has seen how quickly people turn on one another, how easily they come to assumptions. The man has seen the absolute worst of people and would rather not trust another to save his hide.
Are You Really That Smug?: Once his barriers have been breached, his smug attitude and belief in his own capabilities come to the surface. Kurasa knowsthat he is good looking, that he is good in battle and in bed, and he won’t let another tell him otherwise.
Frisky Under the Influence: Though not an every day occurrence, the man can often be seen in the corner of a tavern, pounding back the drinks…which probably garners more attention than it should. But with drink in his system, he becomes much more open and social, which leads to a new bed partner. But upon waking, he is his normal self, extremely ticked and grumpy despite just having got laid.

Sword for Hire: Or more specifically, a glaive. Kurasa will do just about anything to put Gil into his pocket; in regards to killing or protecting, that is. But unless the person has won his loyalty, there is a chance he’ll turn on them in favor of a higher counter offer.
Blood of the Dragon: The Orl Clan was persecuted and primarily killed off because the Ishgardians believed them to be in line with their dragon ancestors: one look at Kurasa and, although not proven, one might think he truly did descend from the creatures. Cracked obsidian scales that flow with lava, slitted eyes, and fanged teeth. He portrays an intimidating picture.
Battle Hardened Warrior: Kurasa is the epitome of a person that has been hardened by battle, and by fate. There could be no better person to fight at your side, as he is skilled in not only his glaive but a multitude of other weapons. He’s one of the first to rush into the fray and it’s quite hard to take him down.
Lover of Tea: When the Xaela is able, he enjoys being able to sit down with a steaming cup of tea and let the days troubles wash from his person. It’s strange to see him do so and often, he’ll get looks of confusion when ordering, but who gives a shit?
A Slight Alcoholic: Then there is the opposite of the tea love, which is his need to drown his emotions in alcohol. Unfortunately when Kurasa drinks enough, he becomes a very open and affectionate person, which oft leads to him waking up with another in his bed.
Nature Lover: The best way he found to keep his body in shape, is to test his strength against what nature has to offer. Climbing cliffs and waterfalls gives the Xaela a full body work out and when he is done, he can sit amoungst the flowers and animals, and relax. There is nothing quite like feeling the sun beat down and the cool breeze against sweat stained skin.

5.5 Part 2 spoilers goes without saying. All Crystal RPers are welcome to this event on the Balmung server. Read on to learn more!
This event will have a fixed structure to accommodate the potentially large number of players in attendance (over 30 last time!). In addition, an event guide will be written for participants to have access to on the day.
Prelude: Up to an hour before the official start time is some unofficial RP for our characters to get to know each other, set at the Immortal Flames outpost in Carteneau.
Act 1 (“Trash mobs”): After an initial clash of our RP army with a large enemy force, our characters split up into pre-determined squadrons to fight the enemy in easier-to-GM “mini-events”.
Act 2 (“Boss fight”): A lunar primal will descend upon the battlefield, potentially tempering your character and resulting in an RPvP sequence following modified Grindstone rules (including the ability to gang up). Don’t worry! If the heroes are defeated, a “deus ex machina” is planned to save the day ;)
Act 3: Rather than have an unofficial denouement, an epilogue will be rolled into the official event time to allow our characters to properly process the battle. This would involve tending to the injured and tempered with porxies etc!
As can be found on our Carrd, please keep in mind our 3 guiding principles:
We do NOT do DND-style tabletop events: Your characters are not arranged on a board with a defined number of enemies who have a set amount of hitpoints you have to whittle down. In most cases, there is a vaguely defined enemy force. This allows for a large-scale military conflict to be properly simulated.
Roll first, THEN emote: Outside of RPvP, your characters will roll to meet a success/fail threshold, then emote accordingly. This is contextual, and depends on the specific GM post.
It’s on You, the Writer: In order to alleviate as much stress as possible from the GMs, it is expected that event participants take the initiative in writing their character out in whatever happenings are taking place. We are here to provide a creative platform for your characters to be a part of something greater than themselves, rather than have RP spoon-fed directly to you. When something happens, take the initiative! Be bold and confident in writing your character in a structured but freeform story. That isn’t to say your characters will be ignored by the GMs, however, quite the contrary…
In addition, patienceandgracearerequiredfor these events. All 4 of the GMs are older adults with significant RL commitments, including a parent of a toddler and incoming newborn. It can feel stressful, especially RPvP, to be part of these large-scale events; but don’t worry! If you keep the above in mind, you WILL have fun being a Big Damn Hero of FFXIV’s Main Story Quest!

Job: Bounty Hunter, mercenary, blade for hire.
General Overview: The first thing Cerulean remembers is waking up on a ship, destination unknown. Where it did stop was in Kugane. Though they were told to stay within the belly of the ship, the small thing was able to slip away, realizing that she was sold to be a slave, she simply stumbled into the streets, a beggar with barely any clothes on her back. She was found by a samurai who took her in and trained her in the ways of the katana. Her master was old, and he soon passed away. Finding there was little use for someone well versed with the katana outside of joining the Sekiseigumi (which would have been too restrictive for her), she’s been working as a bounty hunter, traveling between Eorzea and Othard hunting for those who have the most gil over their heads.
What she has been up to: Mostly in Eorzea for now, she has had multiple jobs taking her in multiple corners of the continent, the latest one to abduct some Ishgardian noble girl to lead other individuals into some sort of trap.
NPC Capabilities: Need an antagonist? Someone to hunt your criminal or non-criminal character? Cerulean is for that! Perhaps you yourself are a bounty hunter or mercenary in need of help?
The greatest gladiatorial tournament Ul’dah has ever seen is back. A chance for men and women to rise from the lowest ranks of society to perhaps become champions. Patrons sponsor their gladiators in hopes to get fame, fortune, glory and influence. The Game Mistress, the generous lady Owuwu of clan Owu presides over the events, introducing the warriors and rewarding an ivory dagger to the tournament’s winner. Win three, and one can become champion and ask a boon of the generous, kind and gracious lady Owuwu.

How does it work?
Fighters are chosen from the beginning, and the outcome is even figured out over a week in advance! Why? To give you the best spectator experience ever! Fighters will take to the sands, armed with nothing but weapons and courage. They will fight for the glory of Ul’dah, and of their patron, the roars of the crowd will be deafening!
We finally got our hands on one of them, we did it, had to go within the heart of a volcano, but we got one of the pieces of the puzzle, what the madman was begging for, what he needed, we have it and we can keep it out of his hands… It would have been a great time to celebrate…
Had the airship not fallen from the skies, crashing into the frozen Coerthas winter land.
We barely survived, had it not been for John’s excellent piloting and some magic from Garinn, Arismont and myself. Again I used the technique, the experimental thing that I need to stop doing. A man and a woman forced themselves within the crashed airship, wanting to get their hands on what we had gotten… This was sabotage. It just so happened that the man was my ex, the reason why I do not believe in relationships anymore, he stood before me, his old reaver self. We managed to calm things down and were able to signal for help but this…this is just too much.
We did fight some sort of golem in the volcano…that was entertaining…

Name: The Generous Lady Owuwu of clan Owu.

Job: Noblewoman, businesswoman, diplomat, game mistress of the Proving Grounds, over all white collar scumbag.
General Overview: Born to a powerful, influential and stupidly wealthy family of Ul’dah that can trace its lineage to the Ul dynasty, Owuwu has always wanted to be remembered among the upper crust of Ul’dah. She has risen to prominence recently, making a name for herself as the head of the house, her father suffering from the gout, she’s taken over most duties that usually fall in the hands of the lady. Politically gifted, astute, shrewd, logical and ruthless, this little Lalafell will rise as high as it is possible unless she dies before.
What she has been up to: In an effort to enhance her political clout, and to bring her name to every lips of Ul’dah, Owuwu has resurrected the Proving Grounds, a gladiatorial combat tournament that her ancestors once held where the lowly of commoners could fight and become champions. Every man is equal on the sands, and Owuwu is eager to reap the benefits.
NPC Capabilities: Owuwu was designed completely to be the Game Mistress of the Proving Grounds. Of course, like most characters, she’s grown on me. Lady Owuwu can be used in any story that requires a noble, someone with power and influence, perhaps a business deal, etc…
Gal Kamille attended a ball, and before that the date auction, events that were PACKED, and orchestrated by her FC, the Aureate Ward! It was pretty fun! Gal, as a sky pirate more used to an airship or ancient ruins was not necessarily in her element. The fact that she was more or less followed by a drunk popoto the whole evening did not help, mind you. She did meet a new possible friend, a mercenary highlander, she tends to attract those often it seems. Highlander mercenaries and drunk Lalafells, yay /s

In the coming weeks. Professor Galtara Basch will be leading an expedition of researchers and their protectors to the Far East. On the Blue Sun, retrofitted Garlean airship captained by Castor Wilde, the expedition will set to the skies towards Kugane from Limsa Lominsa. From Kugane, the expedition will be able to work its way to Othard, to locations like Yanxia, The Azim Steppe and the Ruby Sea. The Violet Mage wishes to offer the opportunity for other scholars to join her. Any field of study can benefit from this expedition, and there is gil to be made for anyone who wishes to protect the researchers. Galtara has secured transport, is hoping to secure a Doman contact, now she needs other scholars, protectors and funding.
THE BRAINS
Are you a researcher in any field that could benefit from an expedition to the Far East? Perhaps you are an Allagan researcher who wishes to study the relics left behind in the Burn, or the odd vestiges left behind in the Azim Steppe? Perhaps you study geography or history? Perhaps you research monsters, and wish to find species that can only be found on the Othardian continent! Are you an aetherologist or calamatologist who could perhaps gain from studying in the Far East? Truly, the possibilities are endless. Contact Professor Galtara for an interview and if your field of interest can be attached to our expedition, so be it.
THE BRAWN
Though most of the research team may very well be battle capable, having additional protection is needed. The dangers found on the continent may need permanent solutions, and so the expedition will find itself in need of individuals who can fight to protect the researchers and themselves.Contact Galtara Basch for an interview. It is to be noted that we are looking for a variety of talents and combat styles. We will not be accepting twenty gunblade wielding mercenaries. A magic specialist, a healing specialist, a bruiser or two are all needed as well. So do not let that stop you. If you can fight, or have skills that will help in protecting the expedition, please come for an interview!
THE GIL
The expedition will need funding, and Galtara is looking to petition wealthy individuals and institutions for just that. This would be the reverse of the other interviews. Instead of people coming to Galtara, my character can come to yours to ask for funding. Perhaps becoming a patron of academia is enough for you, the publicity from the journals published from this expedition is likely to shower you in fame. Perhaps you will have your own price. There can be all manners of politics and storyline coming simply from funding.
To not get too chaotic, the actual expedition should not have twenty people. That is why there will be an interview process. The goal is to build a team for a long term storyline. Our characters will go on a few adventures while in Othard, so it’s paramount that we all fit together. You’ll be free to use a “flexible” timeline, so that you can be part of the expedition, all the while continuing your RPs back in Eorzea or wherever else. The first two RP events will be about the flight to Kugane, because things can never go smoothly when Galtara flies somewhere. From there, there will be smaller RPs among all those who’ve crossed over. Galtara will expect some to join her in her own researcher, and will gladly help out the other researchers in their endeavours, while their protectors come along.
Feel free to have your own reasons for joining the expedition. Perhaps you’re upfront about them, or perhaps you’re keeping them to yourself. BRING ME ADVENTURE, BRING ME ACTION, BRING ME DRAMA MAMA!

RP Hooks
Zion is very open to RP In most places and Scenarios, given that he is an Adventurer and Traveller and can also handle Teleports well any place should be possible and I can easily come up with something.
If you have lived in Ishgard, The Brume or frequently visited the Forgotten Knight your character can easily know Zion. He lived in the Brume, sometimes slept at the Forgotten Knight or drank something there if he had the Gil .
Perhaps your character has fought in the Battle of Carteneau like Zion and could know him through that?
He will take some adventurer Quest and Leves if he is in the mood, or bribe him with alcohol. It is quite easy to get him to do something if you know the way.
Zion hardly has a day where he is not found in a Bar , either drinking or flirting. There is also a high chance he is deadass drunk or even passed out. The possibilities are endless.
Despite how this Man seems completely useless he has worked with the Scions of the Seventh Dawn in the Past yet seems to hold a grudge against them now. People who have the Echo are also prone to know him.

I live in Germany and my Timezone is UTC + 2 or MESZ and due to that its best to hit me up on Discord for either Discord RP or so I can make time for some ingame RP!
Style/Preference Notes
I don’t mind both Discord and In-Game RP but prefer Discord due to being able to write more frequently there. [ We can always just do Discord RP till Crystal and World Visit happens haha. ]
I’m open to all kind of RP [Gore, Fights, Romance etc.] and don’t mind anything. Zion is a great all-round talent to throw into any scenario but keep in mind he is very flirty and can be annoying. This doesn’t mean I want ERP all the time its just how Zion is. If anything makes you uncomfortable don’t be hesitant to tell me , I don’t bite.
Roma’s eyes cracked open a few ticks before the alarm was set to sound. Quickly, he turned to face the chronometer that sat on his bedside table, reaching out to stifle the bell the moment it began to ring. He uttered a near-silent curse as he shifted to turn the mechanism off, carefully untangling himself from the limbs that held him still in the bed. His head turned back towards his partner as he began to rise, slipping out from under Nath’s arm and leaving the other elezen to rest in the comfort of the plush, white bedding. Nath shifted with a groan, pulling the down duvet tightly around himself as the warmth of his companion dissipated.
Roma stood still for a few moments as he rose completely, seeming to hang suspended in the air as he held his breath, waiting to ensure that Nath would not wake before making his way into the bath. The doctor crept quietly over the wooden floorboards, tiptoeing into the room beyond and quickly grabbing his clothing on the way. He dressed simply, a pair of running pants and a loosely fitted shirt that barely anyone would see as he completed his pre-dawn ritual of a run through the beds, as had been his custom for quite some time.
As he dressed, he fussed around the room, picking up a few stray items of clothing and tossing them into the hamper for washing. He huffed a small laugh as he tucked away a few of Nath’s toiletries, setting them carefully into a drawer that held the ever-growing collection of his personal items. There was now a toothbrush, a hairbrush, and silver pocket watch that Roma was certain had belonged to someone other than his companion until quite recently. He smirked as his fingers ran over the engraving of the piece, shaking his head as he quietly shut the drawer and left the bathroom.
Roma paused for another tick as he crossed the bedroom, his eyes flitting towards the dark head of hair that was the only visible evidence of another occupant in the bed. He stepped carefully to the stairs in the dim light feeling his way along as he descended into the main room of the apartment. Once downstairs, he moved a bit faster, flicking on a light or two as he entered the kitchen. He set the kettle on the stove to heat, perching himself on a stool right beside the stove to wait for it. He remained at his vigil until the steam began to rise thickly from the tea kettle, reaching to snatch it quickly before the vessel had a chance to whistle, holding it still in the air for a beat as he seemed to listen for any sounds of stirring from above.
Content that he’d managed to complete his morning ritual without disturbing, the doctor took his cup of tea into the clinic to enjoy it, sitting for half a bell at his desk while he prepared for the day. As the china cup emptied to nothing but leaves, he left it to sit on the desk, slipping quietly out the front door and into the darkness for his run.
