Emily: Check this out, I know sign language now. After I moved into my robot body, I learned lots of languages.
Clint: Oh, cool! Wait– what?!Okay. Robot body?
Emily: My original body died.
Clint: So sorry!
Emily: Thanks, Wade saved my mind and placed it into this S.H.I.E.L.D. life model decoy.

And here is Matteo Lolli’s visual representation of sign language. He uses Clint and Emily’s expressions and gestures to keep the action moving, while the word bubbling and background images convey how much they’re expressing with their signing.

We’ve seen a lot of cool visual depictions of Clint’s deafness over the past few months, but this is a particularly simple and efficient one.

I think we can all be proud that Clint finally has a contingency plan for these sorts of situations.

Clint: That’s Deadpool. That’s his face.
Kate: Oh, cool! Happy Halloween!
Wade: Dammit… I should’ve been Freddy for Halloween.
