Dress
Gabriella Pescucci. 1993.

This incredible dress is a costume for the film ‘The Age of Innocence’ (1993), directed by Martin Scorsese. Age of innocence is set in the Victorian era, during the 1870’s and this costume was worn by Michelle Pfeiffer. (Unfortunately I couldn’t find a decent screen cap of her wearing it.) The costume it’s self was designed by Gabriella Pescucci. She has also designed costumes for The Scarlet Letter (1995), Les Misérables (1998), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (1999), Van Helsing (2004), Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005), The Brothers Grimm (2005), Beowulf (2007), Agora (2009) & The Borgias (TV series 2011)(5 episodes, 2011-2012) along with many other movies. [source for dress Here. Sadly it does not name were it found the images.]

fuckyeahbatcat:

“A complete take of the Batman mythos without the character for me was sacrilegious. You’ve gotta have her, because she has a delicious greyness to her that helps define who Batman is. She keeps wavering on this line of, ‘Is she a good guy or a bad guy?’ Well, she’s kind of neither. And that’s why, to me, that relationship and that character only enhances the universe - and the Batman character.” - Jonathan Nolan

Officially licensed Scarface poster, available to preorder for 72 hours from Zavvi!

It’s a 16” x 24” giclée print, and the edition size will simply be however many sell over the next 3 days. This is your only chance to guarantee owning a copy in this format. Needless to say, I’m very grateful to have been able to pay homage to the iconic Brian De Palma movie. Huge thanks to Universal Studios, and to Al Pacino and Michelle Pfeiffer (or at least their ‘people’, we can’t be totally sure, though it’s likely they saw it) for approving their likenesses. Thanks also to Fanattik for the opportunity, and of course to Zavvi for releasing the poster. I wasn’t able to include Al Pacino on my The Godfather poster last year as the license didn’t allow for it, so this certainly helps to make up for that! Any help spreading the word is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
