Remember MicroMachines Action Fleet?

Well, they’re sort of coming back!

The TIE Skirmisher Mk.2, or the TIE Skirmisher Advanced.

Developed by the Imperial Remnant from its new TIE/sf, the TIE/ska featured solar panels that lifted up when the fighter entered an atmosphere.

The Imperial Remnant had limited ship building facilities, so, while new fighters and ships were being developed, they had to try and modify designs that were already tried and tested, to try and get an edge over the New Republic and other enemies.

The TIE Fast Torpedo Bomber, or TIE/ftb. Pretty much exactly what it looks like, the TIE Bomber hull with TIE Interceptor solar panels. Also had the Interceptors 4 lasers, giving it more of a punch, and the Interceptors engines.

One of my head cannon theories is that the First Order used ships that had already been developed by the Imperial Remnant.

So, here is a TIE/sf of the Imperial Remnant.

TIE/sk, or the TIE Skirmisher, of the Imperial Remnant

TIE Fighter, Interceptor, and Bomber, of the Imperial Remnant.

Decided to give the Remnant the lighter coloured solar panels, to show some progression from the Empire to the First Order.

A Rebel, or even New Republic, Corellian CR-120 Escort Corvette.

An original Galoob-era micromachine that I had converted 20 or more years ago. Just added the second, heavier, top laser turret, the side cargo/passenger aeras, and gave it a better paint job.

TIE/fo and TIE/sf of the first post First Order faction I have decided to create, the Blood Order.

This started off as just a simple TIE Fighter repaint. Originally, the backstory for it was going to be the TIE Fighter used by a mercenary. But … I think the colours worked really well, so now I am thinking of doing a whole post-empire Imperial faction that use this colour scheme.

Another Y-Wing variant, or another Y-Wing ugly.

Repaint and wash on an original Galoob micromachines A-Wing. Had to debate with myself about what to do with the engines, especially with that gap. Black just didn’t look right, so went with doing it the engine colour.

New TIE Fighter variant, the TIE/sk, or the TIE Skirmisher.

Kind of inspired by the TIE that lands in episode 7 of The Mandalorian.

A Uy-Wing Torpedo Bomber (pronounced you-why). I guess it classifies as an ugly. The cargo area on the U-Wing would be converted to hold torpedoes. Replaced by the more capable B-Wing.

Another ugly. An X-Wing/Y-Wing hybrid.

I don’t think all Separatist ships would have been scrapped at the end of the Clone Wars. So here is one of their Providence Class ships, refitted and used by the Rebel Alliance.

Just a couple of repainted X-Wings. Well, I think the red one just had a wash put on it, that was all.

Couple of repainted VCX-100s. I really like how the brown one turned out. Was never really a fan of the design of the Ghost to be honest.

A couple of Y-Wing repaints. The Hasbro micro machines Y-Wing was a pretty good little model. A repaint and a wash could really make it pop.

A Rebel, or pirate, XY-Wing. Sometimes I like to also call it the Crosswing Heavy Fighter.

OK, so this one is pretty old. Made from the old original micro machines by Galoob, so I must have made this one in the mid or late 1990s. Basically it is my version of a T-Wing. All I did to it was give it a better repaint.

Based on the T-65 X-Wing, the T-66 was developed as a cheaper, atmospheric and low orbital fighter. It became popular with planetary defense forces after the civil war, when the New Republic started to scale back its military. The astromech droid, now no longer having to be used to calculate hyperspace jumps, was devoted to the ships systems and repairs.
