Playing catch-up with arrivals, because if I get caught up, I can play with stuff. XD

First pic – a dreamy and colorful outfit set by “Mobile General Store”, apparently inspired by “melon-flavored candy drops”. It sure looks like it! I’d been eyeing this for Joce for a while and finally pulled the trigger. My plan is to pair the set with his KABA kitty-eared flight cap, but I think the components will be fun to mix and match with other pieces, too.

Second pic – a sought-after cardigan, in “rose”, from velvet*paw. I have several other cardigans in this style (gray and green), and I love them. Whether I use it for my boys, or oversized for V, this color will be a fantastic addition to the collection. Plus… it’s pink. <3

Third pic – basic underwear from noinoiDOLL. AKA, a purchase I’ve been putting off because buying underwear is boring, but after all these years, I think I might finally have enough for all of my dolls. That’s a BJD collector lifetime goal, right??

Fourth pic – cute wintry YoSD set, by an unknown dealer. There are lots of neat details to tie the outfit together, so I’m interested to see what it will look like on. It’s untagged, but I hope to figure out the maker eventually.

Fifth pic – Volks YoTenshi gown. I don’t typically buy company stuff anymore, but I’ve always liked this one. Plus, it was cheap, and I thought if nothing else, I wouldn’t have spent much on it if I needed to modify it for, say, KiKi’s use.

Sixth pic – brown straw hat by Mode Etlan. I like hats! I like their hats in particular; they’re so well-made and stylish. This will probably be for Dom primarily, but it may end up on a lot of different heads. The light color makes it feel summery, don’t you think?

Seventh pic – also a straw hat, but untagged. It’s pink! I haven’t tried it on anyone’s head yet… it feels enormous compared to the previous hat, but that may just be the style. (Orrrr it’s for Blythe, and that’ll be a pickle. XD )

Done with that batch! Time to switch gears for a while…

Some fun stuff that arrived recently~

First pic – cut & sew shirt by Puff & Cool, in a foil printed black and red fabric. It’s basic but cool. I like the little tag on the front hem; it’s a small but neat detail. This will probably be primarily for Vincynt.

Second pic – a very old nostalgic sweater design by +d. It has a cow skull on it because… why not? The zippers on the sleeves give it extra oomph. I think I might put it on Joce first, again because why not.

Third pic – “chef pants” by +d, in the “great tartan checks” color. Adding to my collection of +d pants in this style! The fabric is hard to resist. <3

Fourth pic – gray “knit” sweater by Yucca. They’ve done a few different styles in this same fabric. Since it’s the SD version, it’ll probably go to V. (Although maybe Joce would look cute in it, too?)

Fifth pic – adorableshort bloomers by MILKDOLL, in white. There’s something about the super gathered + wrinkled nature of the fabric that is very appealing. The white will be the most versatile, but I’d love to collect them in more colors!

Sixth pic – dark brown straw hat by Mode Etlan. I liked the light brown one I picked up a while back so much that I thought it’d be useful to have in a darker color, too. As always, their hats are just marvelously made.

Seventh pic – and another beret by +d, this time in greige. The construction is a little different (I mean, as far as berets can be different) than the other mustard yellow one I have (no reinforced stitching, this one has a stalk/loop on the top), but they’re both still fantastic. I was surprised (and happy!) that it included the original packaging; DollyTeria doesn’t always show off that info in their listing pics. It’d probably make it easier to identify things if they did…

Eighth pic – a bolo tie in purple by Fuga Lupinus…

Ninth pic – and one in black as well! More candy-colored goodness for my collection. Sometime I need to put all of my dolls in outfits utilizing the bolo ties at once, for funsies.

Back to work on other photos~
