Another Pretty Cool Modern Day AU…
What if Diluc woke up in the Modern Day after the war and not remembered what happened? At first, he’s accused of being a cosplayer (whatever that is) and he learns that he woke up in a museum that was created to commemorate the war. He also learns that he has woken up thousands of years in the future.
In disbelief, he starts to call out to Kaeya and tell him that the joke isn’t funny anymore. The attendant tells him that he’s terrible at cosplaying as the “Great Hero” if he’s calling out for the traitor. When Diluc demands to know what the attendant is talking about, they tell him that Kaeya Alberich was the evil mastermind behind the war and that he was slain by the “Great Hero” Diluc Ragnvindr.
Diluc ignores their other attempts to ask him questions as he laments the idea that he “killed” Kaeya. Then he has a thought.
If he woke up in this time, surely Kaeya is also here somewhere? He refused to believe he was dead. He needed answers and he needed them now.
The snake ate a mouse. One swallow, straight down. Ewan was fighting Valiant when he collapsed. It must have been one of the snakes from the shield. I have to tell Arthur.
