InLa femme de mon frère, Monia Chokri’s first feature film as a director (undetermined release date), she plays a woman whom everyone falls in love with, but who still intrudes in spite of herself into the fusional relationship that her new lover (Patrick Hivon) shares with his sister (Anne-Élisabeth Bossé). In Ca$h Nexu$, François Delisle’s new film (Le météore, Chorus), Evelyne Brochu plays with Alexandre Castonguay and François Papineau, in a story where the return of a “poqué” being brings back old demons into a family. In theatres on March 22nd.

After being turned down for a position at the university, thirty-something Sophia finds herself forced to live “temporarily” with her older brother, Karim. He is delighted to share his home with his little sister since they have an intense bond, which is put to the test when Karim falls madly in love for the first time, with Éloise, Sophia’s doctor. For Sophia, it is almost like a lovers’ spat that prompts her to question her true place in the world and make choices in an attempt to finally grow up.
