There’s few things more powerful then knowing that you’re not alone in your experiences, and that can be the first step to moving forward.
Sketched this on Sunday in anticipation of 100% Friendship! (I knew it was coming but being anime-only I didn’t know how it was gonna pan out). The episode itself really struck an emotional chord with me so I had to draw something!

The last panel shows Inukawa laying down in a bed, now with large shoujo eyes. He starts saying, “Hey-”, but gets cutoff by Tsubomi crying and yelling, “Nooooo!!!”. End ID]

I talked about terus arc before and it got quite a lot of attraction, but I also think no one talks about dimples arc???? Which is insane???? He grew so much… So imma rant about it, and there will be spoilers!!! (Also pictures cuz our generation cannot focus)
First off, we can tell that dimple never wanted to harm people (which serizawa can relate to aswell though dimple abused his powers while serizawa feared his). When dimple made his cult, it was so he could be a part of a “happy” environment. Because he’s been dead for a while (i assume) and no one can see or talk to him and the ones who can (which are espers) most likely tried to kill him or blow him up. He was lonely, so he thought the only solution was to use his powers to surround himself with “happy” smiling people. He created an artificial environment because at the moment that was the best he could do and the happiest he could be. Because even if their emotions are fake, he wont be alone anymore.

After he got defeated by mob, he supposedly stuck around mob so he could possess him and become really strong. With mobs powers, they could make the entire world adore them/pay attention to them. He possessed not only mob but ritsu and a couple other main/strong characters. But not once did we see him attempting to keep their body as his own. He sure thought about it, and he could’ve stayed in shigeos body and possessed him when his soul came back into its physical shell, but he didn’t. He was worried so he went into mogami land to help mob. “All part of his diabolical plan” my ass. He wanted Shigeo, the first person he remembers who showed him trust, kindness and believed that dimple was a genuinely okay being at best, to be safe and to return safely. And mind you, mob is the strongest esper ever and he showed dimple mercy even though he couldve gotten rid of him like that. That on it’s own could change a lonely spirits heart.
Which is exactly why it makes so much sense that dimple got upset when mob told him to not pursue his plan to brainwash the world. His first true friend brushed him off and didnt hear his story, told him he was being childish. Shigeo, the kid with limitless patience and kindness. Dimple was feeling hurt and just like reigen, he decided he can do this alone and he doesnt need the person who helped him at his lowest. He doesnt need anybody’s help. But mob came and said the same things all over again, told him to just quit already. And just when dimple made fun of mobs shirt, mob realized he was being full of himself and dimple was doing the same, they just got carried away.
These scenes above is when dimple realized that he didnt care about being a God or his stupid plan to take over the world, he was only doing all this so he’d have a reason to stay with the person that he trusts most and a person who actually trusts him. He was doing all this so he can make an excuse as to why he has friends. I guess he didnt want to admit the real reason or didnt realize yet.
Then of course, they decide to go home together but dimples says he doesn’t even know if he has a home to return to, though mob believes his home is dimples too but obviously this is mob psycho so things cant always be that easy… *adds dimple to the list of characters in mp100 who’ve sacrificed their life for a loved one* yeah… dimple tricks shigeo into think hes back in his usual form and tells him to go home first because he has things to take care of, psycho helmet was created from the dreams of the psycho helmet cult and dimple unknowing woke him up with his powers. Mob didnt have any power left after their fight (more like an argument actually) so dimple had to protect him… even if that means risking his own life…. the friends he made, the hopes he had for the future, it didnt matter as long as his one true friend is safe and happy
I also like how psycho helmet (the god)was created through the belief of the cult with the help of dimples powers but that’s exactly how dimple came back into life. Mob believed so hard that he was out there and he would come back home. With mobs strong belief and overwhelming power during the final arc, he like psycho helmet, was able to appear again.
I think, dimple is one of the most relatable characters. And his arc made me cry more than once…
Anyways, with dimples growth I bet that his plan to become God would become an inside joke. Like dimples says he cant wait to possess mob and steal all his power and then like oop heres ur body back and they all laugh except tome and serizawa are like wtf…
If you have anything more you want to add, feel free to! I hope I didnt just state the obvious for like 4 paragraphs… and if I did I guess that’s fine cuz it helped fizzle my brainrot lol…

No matter what he is we will always hate him and he will always be our little meow meow Tbh ik it’s probably unlikely that he’d be canonically queer and if he was the show will prob be deemed as ‘yaoi’ or 'bl’ but itll be nice to have a queer character that’s just another dude. Like just a lil guy u know and like no biggy just like fun fact gay and lonely… I just hoped it wont be fetishized if its canon because we gays have so little to feed on…
Just realized that people dont talk about terus character development enough. Like yeah gay boy fashion disaster with a huge ego even after he gets destroyed, but when you think about his first battle with mob and
(Mp100 manga Spoiler warning)
-his last fight with mob, one made that parallel on purpose (well yeah obviously). His first battle with mob was because he was afraid of how people would see him if he wasnt strong anymore, if he didnt have powers anymore what would be left of him? He fought mob because he wanted mob to rise over others with his strength. He looked down on him and saw himself in him. He thought if he didnt show off his skills, he would be a lonely loser. But in reality, teru had more trouble making true friends compared to mob because of the persona he created. But at the end of the manga the battle plays out the same way except this time, teru is trying to stop mob from hurting others instead of encouraging him. Reigen wasnt the only one risking his life, dignity and facade during the final arc. Teru once again lost his clothes, his hair, he wasnt able to stop him, he wasnt able to fight anymore, he was putting his life on the line too. In this frame mob says “and hanazawa kun… I did this to him. He went that far… trying to stop me?”
I dont think people realized how big of a deal it was that teru did this for mob. I kind of brushed it aside too because I was focusing of mobs mental state but it shows how much teru grew, how much he cared for mob, how much he cared for other people now. He may still think ‘oh yeah I’m so much stronger than everyone’ (which is true lol) but now instead of wanting to use his strength to put fear into others, he uses it to save them. I’m not very good at this analysis stuff,,, honestly I feel like most of this was just brainrot ranting but hes such a good boy!!!! Wish I couldve explained it better…..
