Cozy Time With Friends - Paloma
This one required a bit more customizing. The head is from a Zombies Disney’s 2, Willa Lykensen Werewolf Doll, the body is a yoga made to move one. I need to remove part of the original eyeshadow and do a little repaint on the lipstick as well. I also painted the glasses, to match the pink-ish tortoise pattern from Paloma’s.

I used a BMR 1959 Asian Barbie for this one. I remade the hairstyle and the mouth, to suit the red lipstick that Vivian was using.
She loved the little blouse by the way. =D

Cozy Time With Friends - Party Time
I had my friends Vivian and Paloma visiting me last weekend, and since they were super excited with their “mini-me” Barbie versions I showcased last year, I decided to make these two as a gift for them.
I had custom outfits made at this Etsy store, the seller there does an amazing work. These are the clothes they were wearing when they visited me last time.

‘It Is Still Not Spring’ Collection
I wanted to do a more colorful collection, but I’m kind of following the weather around me and is still not so warm as I wished. The trees are still not sprouting, and I still see lots of browns and grays… so the colors here are quite dull, but at least I tried a few different silhouettes.
I also got a digital camera and I’m trying it. Still adjusting to its functions… I hope the photos are not so bad!

A Very Brown ‘Back to Office’ Collection - Pied-de-Poule Skirt + Turtleneck Shirt
Now we’re talking about a businesswoman look! I think this is the one I liked the most. I just got this nice pencil skirt and the turtleneck shirt, and I wanted to use them. To finish the look, a professional bag and pointy boots. I also decided for bold earrings and a bracelet to give her a touch of powerful femininity. I love this look!

A Very Brown ‘Back to Office’ Collection - Cream Tailleur
Another set I just got. I like it but the skirt was too short for my taste, I felt like it was falling into a ‘sexy secretary’ stereotype… I wasn’t very happy with it. So I decided to give her glasses and rich-looking accessories to make her a bit more ‘serious’, but I’m not sure if it worked much… same with the choice of bag, I’m not so sure of the model but the color fitted well so I went for it anyways.

A Very Brown ‘Back to Office’ Collection - Tailored Pants
I think this is a very “businesswoman” look but I think the boho belt and the jewelry gives a little break at its seriousness. Also, the overall tones were quite cold so the I chose the warmer belt and shoes to give a little contrast.
I was also dying to use this new cute Louis Vuitton bag, it fits so perfectly! I have a similar bag myself (a fake one because I have no money for a real Louis Vuitton of course), so I was very satisfied with this look in particular.

A Very Brown ‘Back to Office’ Collection
To match a previous collection I made, I decided to continue with the brown theme. Here in Canada we are already in spring, but yesterday we just had snow so I believe spring is just a theoretical concept here. -_-`
Since some workplaces are reopening, I decided to try some “back to office” looks; after spending 2 years only wearing “stay home” clothes, I thought it would be a cool exercise do to.

A Very Brown Winter Collection - Tan coat + Leopard flare pants
Here I went for a “happy hour” look, meaning going somewhere to dance/drink after work. The long coat, the furry collar and the bag help with the “serious” look for working, but underneath it all there is a flashy golden shirt and bold leopard printed flare pants. Despite not being a fan of animal print, I think these pants are a nice break for the long single-colored coat, and the tones among them work very well together.

A Very Brown Winter Collection - Astrological leggings + Curly fur coat
Here I went for something like an “Art student” look. There are so many details here, I wanted to show up all of them! I kept the brown as the main color but tried different tones, and added the red as a complement. Since the leggings have this “mystical/astrological” pattern, I decided to pair them up with the sun and stars necklace that I made long ago. It was a very fun look to build, I’m quite happy with the result.

A Very Brown Winter Collection - Light fur coat + Pencil dress
Here I wanted a “ rich business lady” look. I wasn’t sure about the boots but I think they added a modern touch and matched the coat very well. I also love the mix of brown and copper!
