Last weekend I did a photoshoot with my completed Prompto costume! It was a ton of fun and I had a very special (and VERY cute) guest star.

It will be a few weeks before I get the pictures back, but in the meantime, here are some selfies from my DIY photoshoot in my bathroom.

By the way, I have a bunch of WIP photos, tutorials, and downloadable resources for this costume on my Patreon. (And I also have a ko-fi if you’re into that sort of thing!)

I finished this prop for my Prompto cosplay the other day! It’s the Quicksilver – the gun with the same name as him. This one is my favorite. ^^

The gun was modeled and generously provided by Vyecos(anamazingcosplayer,pleasecheck them out.) I got the model 3D printed, sculpted all the filigree details on there by hand with epoxy, and painted it with iridescent pigments to get that cool patina. It was my first time doing a 3D-printed prop and it wound up being a huge amount of labor, but it was also really fun and I want to do more in the future. There are WIPs of this and the rest of my Prompto cosplay on my patreon!

Little clip of me walking in my Grunt stilts. I can move, I can walk, it hurts my toes but all will be well! I just have to build the legs out like mad to get the correct look

So My dad and I started work on my Grunt stilts today. They hurt my feet, but hey I can walk in them and it isn’t killing me! So fingers crossed I can deal in them.

So I found my two photosets from last DCC with my cosplans and my actual costumes and I had to put them side-by-side. Stuff like this always makes me so proud of my costumes. I’d love to see y'all’s costume vs. character shots!

First part of the Cullen armour is coming along nicely!

Took a cosplay break for a couple months but I’ve gotten back to my Cullen Rutherford WIP. Last armour pattern test before I move onto the real deal. Glad I hoard foam scraps to make mockups!
