I’ve become sceptical of the unwritten rule that just because a boy and girl appear in the same feature, a romance must ensue. Rather, I want to portray a slightly different relationship, one where the two mutually inspire each other to live - if I’m able to, then perhaps I’ll be closer to portraying a true expression of love.

Ingredients:
- 3 eggs
- 150 g sugar
- 150 ml milk
- 300 g flour
- 3 tsp baking powder
- Black food colouring gel
- Nutella (to fill the cupcakes)
Tools
- 3 pastry bags
- 1 small round piping tip
- Toothpicks
- Bamboo steamer
- Silicon cupcake cups (to hold shape)
Instructions
Set some water to boil on the stove. Make sure the steamer fits the pot. Line the silicon cups with cupcake liners.
In a large bowl, beat the eggs and sugar on high speed until light and fluffy.
Add milk, and fold in flour and baking powder until combined.
Place the cupcakes in the steamer, and when water is boiling, place the steamer on top of the pot and leave for 10-15 minutes.
Let the cupcakes cool on a wire rack.
