I don’t normally post long things, but as a dog owner I was reminded tonight how much like family my dog is to me. My pup Gambit was outside when he got spooked by someone shooting off fireworks. He was gone for almost two hours. Thank goodness I found him with nothing more than a badly skinned and bleeding paw. I’m so thankful for my friends and family who spent an hour with me searching for him. If you have a dog, hug them. Remind yourself why you love them. They love you selflessly everyday without question. I don’t know about you, but I would do anything for my dogs.
