I’ve had this idea kicking around in my head for years - but I think Coraline, Norman, Neil, and Wybie would be an AMAZING spooky team haunted squad once they hit high school ;D

Norman: The teacher couldn’t possibly be a vampire.
Neil: *spends 15 minutes expounding the evidence*
Norman: … Well, damn, dude could legitimately be a vampite.

Coraline: Which means, naturally, Step 27 will be to kill the Queen of England.
Wybie: Not necessarily. With any luck, she’ll already be dead by the time we get to Step 27. And Steps 16, 19, and 24 could very well trigger an anti-royalist revolution in the UK.
Coraline: Oh, that’s an excellent point. Still, we should come up with a plan for regicide. Just in case.
Wybie: What are your thoughts on drones with flamethrowers?
Y’know with how much fanart I’ve already done for them I really wanted to share my actual thoughts on what the dipraz dynamic would be like lmao so here you go take this extremely long post
(The Calamity Kids are facing the forces of the Nightmare Realm commanded by Bill Cipher just outside of Earth’s atmosphere, they eventually take notice of “ Live and Learn” from Sonic Adventure 2 playing from multiple speakers that Wybie created.)
Raz: Wybie, are you seriously blasting Sonic music while we’re fighting?
Wybie: It’s part of my “Universal Protection” playlist! I figured we could use some extra stimulation while saving the world.
Mabel: Well I’m not complaining, I feel even more pumped up right now!
Dipper: Have to admit, these songs are really motivating!
Lili: This isn’t necessary, but I love it!
Coraline: Proud of ya Wybs! C’mon! Let’s make sure these creeps stay on their side of the rift!
(They continue to do so while “Reach for the Stars” begins playing.)
(Dipper runs over to Mabel after acquiring the power of the Rose Calamity Stone)
Dipper: Mabel! You okay?
Lili:Dipper, wait! It might not be safe!
Raz: Yeah. With all that power, she might not be the same Mabel we know.
Dipper:No!
(Mabel then raises a hand when a shining ball of light begins to form. It grows brighter and brighter until what is revealed is a small sundae with several different flavors. She then eats a spoonful and…)
Mabel:mmh, mmh! Oh! My! Golly! You guys got to try this! *snap*
(What comes next is an ice cream cone falling right above them and landing directly on Lili’s face, toppings and all)
Abilities: Can emit sabers of energy for either close range or fire multiple as projectiles. Project dragonfly-like wings that allow her to fly up to supersonic speeds (Similar to Sasha’s wings).
Dipper Pines - Violet - Intellect
Abilities: Can project and summon mental images of supernatural and paranormal creatures from the journal and other encyclopedia for combat.
Mabel Pines - Rose - Imagination
Abilities: Also projects and summons mental images but only unleashes wacky characters, cute animals and other figments of Mabel’s wild and eccentric imagination.
Lili Zanotto - Magenta - Fury
Abilities: Produces a wide variety of fauna that can cause serious damage, depending on the plant. Also amplifies her pyrokinesis and is powerful enough to turn almost anything to ash.
Razputin Aquato - Scarlet - Determination
Abilities: Power from the Calamity Stones have increased his psychic power to the point he can rip entire buildings off the ground.
Neil Downe - Orange - Strength
Abilities: Granted invulnerability and superior strength. Can project an invincible shield onto himself and others.
Norman Babcock - Chartreuse - Spirit
Abilities: His spectral powers increase tenfold and can summon hordes of undead spirits.
Wybie Lovat - Mint - Creation
Abilities: Controls and manipulates all metals and parts to create his own weapons, soldiers and even a whole mech.
*In the Astral Plane, Bill Cipher is playing a classic song on a projected piano.

*After the rehearsal, giggling and slow clapping following his excitement can be heard from behind the dream demon.

*The voice from behind sounded familiar, but the tone and emotion from it was different. He peers around…
Bill Cipher: Eh? That you Mephy? You sound a little more ah… spunkier than usual?
???: Let’s just say I’ve gotten a new “Change of Face”.
*What’s applauding him from behind has the silhouette of a familiar preteen girl, one of eight annoying but powerful kids and the ruthless, malicious energy of recently made BFF.
*They approach closer toward him, Bill truly beholds what’s in front of him: A twisted, demonic fusion of the two.
*Their appearance is nearly identical to that of a small, classic vampire. Complexion so pale like ash in a fireplace. teeth and nails sharpened into black claws and fangs that could dig into your flesh. Her black hair became ratty and unkempt along with her scalp and tips bleached into an icy blue. Ears pointed like that of a vampire. Her pupil became slit shaped and irises a serpentine green, followed with blood red sclera. Her attire also changed from a bright yellow raincoat into a tattered purple cloak.
Bill:Whoa ho ho! Yowza! This certainly is a change! I love that fact you made that blueberry brat even more terrifying! But why change into her?
???:I didn’t change into her, I am her. She and I are one now. Why don’t call me.. Mephiline?
Bill:Mephiline?
Mephiline:Like Mephiles and Coraline mixed together.my conscience and her body have combined into what you see before you. Keep in mind, I’m very much Mephiles but as you may have noticed I’ve inherited a few of her “quirks”.
Bill: Interesting. But my question, is why bother? Our plan for total multi-universal calamity is so close to coming to it’s final act. So why body-snatch one of ‘em?
Mephiline: It’ll spice things up.
Bill:Oh?
Mephiline:Ok, so 1: we both know Coraline is the leader of that gang of misfits, and what do leaders do? They boost morale, they work out their own problems and they work in everyone’s best interests. But now that their stubborn and strong-willed leader is out of commission their hope in coming together to stop us have dwindled and making the stakes even higher.
2: I’m practically holding her body hostage and using as a meat shield and knowing them, they wouldn’t risk hurting a dear friend.
Lastly 3: Even if their Psychonaut friends were able to enter her mind and free her from my control, my conscience have completely altered her mindscape into catastrophic, black ocean which will only drag her and her friends back into my ruthless tides. Even now she’s still struggling to rise to surface to little avail as we sp- *Cough* Cough*.
* As she speaks, she suddenly coughs and hacks up some black fluid from her mouth which quickly begins seeps into the palm of her hand.
Mephiline:See? Annoying as it is, she’s not going anywhere, anytime soon. Hehehehehe!
Bill:Oh. My. God. As if you couldn’t be more wicked, insane and just downright evil! This is why you’re my BFF! Hahahahahah! So, what’s the plan in the meantime, Dark Coraline?
Mephiline:“I'll give them some time talk about their own issues and see if their resolve and loyalty towards each other is still intact with their leader suddenly missing. It they do, once they see me… their horror and despair will be amazing.
Bill Cipher: Okay! You do that, while I continue my own progress behind the scenes. See you at the apocalypse, bestie! Oh, and get something to soothe your throat while your at it!
*After their progress report has ended, Mephiline returns to the physical world, just outside the Mystery Shack. She gives off one disgusting smirk and walks away into the dark woods.
Mephiline:*Cough* Cough* Ack!*Clears throat* I wonder if that diner serves mango milkshakes...
(I deem Darcy and Collector Luz theory responsible for making me do a possession AU of my AU, but can’t blame myself for feeling inspired :D)
This AU is a result of Coraline unfortunately becoming possessed by Mephiles and merging into a demonic fusion of the two.
What happens next is Mephiles infiltrating her mind and transfiguring it into an endless sea of black gack.
Coraline desperately attempts to escape the sinking tides, but the water’s hold on her is too strong to break out. Eventually, She sinks as she loses any hope of escape and prays the other kids to not give up on stopping them and Bill, before closing her eyes.
With her conscious imprisoned, Mephiles then merges their dark presence with her body. Thus, creates a demonic fusion of the two.
This is Mephiline. Now, that the body of the leader of the Mystery Kids is their new vessel, they alongside Bill Cipher have an advantage on bringing the the Mystery Kids and Gravity Falls to their knees.
While merged with Coraline, they inherited some of her quirks as a result (like Darcy). That being adopting a more sassy and snarky personality and taking a liking to her favorite things (hence the mango milkshake).
