I’m sorry but this quote fits exactly with Astolfo.  Roland left my boy for 3 days in Gevaudan and he ended up overdosing, remembered traumas from his past (well that’s Naenia’s fault) and Roland picked him up covered in his own blood and exhausted.  Many parallels are drawn between Astolfo and Vanitas but I wonder if Roland also made connections.  I wonder if that explains why he has taken a liking to Vanitas besides knowing his past and why he is so eager to help him because he has failed a bit with Astolfo.  But then I also wonder why he does not treat or stop treating astolfo as he does with Vanitas.  After that we don’t really know what their interactions look like because we have too few, so maybe he still acts this way toward him.”

“Why does this fandom treat being a love interest as some kind of demeaning role? Yes I’m talking about Jeanne. No I do not think that she is JUST a love interest. She very much has a character and backstory outside her relationship with vanitas you all just refuse to see this (she was adopted by Ruthven’s students, she seems to have been trapped somewhere as a child before being adopted, she has made an unknown wish with neania, her entire story with Luca, her entire story with ruthven), but anyway there’s still NOTHING wrong in her having a love story being central to her character. It does not make her lesser in any way. There’s nothing wrong in her being LOVED and her LOVING someone romantically. Literally why do you all do this?? Loving someone isn’t a writing flaw. Who says you can’t have love being significant to your development as a character?? And anyway her romance with Vanitas is as important to her character as it is important to Vanitas’s. As much as Jeanne is Vanitas’s love interest, Vanitas is also Jeanne’s love interest. The entire main cast are love interests to someone. This fandom is just very hypocritical when it comes to Jeanne, I think it’s very much a personal problem you have with her and it likely stems from ship wars along with her being a kind and soft female character. Admit it. It’s very obvious.“

“Guys there’s something very weird about faustina. Not the character. But just the timeline surrounding her. Like her relationship with Luca for one. Faustina turned into naenia centuries ago since we see her with flashbacks on Jeanne. So how does Luca, who is definitely a kid appear to know her? I’m starting to think there has been a new queen over the years. I don’t think Faustina is the current vampire queen. I think we all assumed wrongly. Vani only said she was the “first” vamp queen.“
