Hello, and welcome to the “Born From The Waves”! A charity zine dedicated to Naminé from Kingdom Hearts! We are happy to officially open applications for contributors!
We are looking for 35-40 contributors which will include 24-27 artists and 6-8 writers. The numbers aren’t set in stone and are subject to change during the application weeks.

After Sora’s return, Naminé’s friends celebrate her birthday with her. While her early days were lonely, her life is very different now, and she treasures each new memory with the people dear to her heart.

“Naminé, when is your birthday?” Kairi asked over breakfast one day, scones with jam and clotted cream, served with a hot cup of tea for both of them. They liked to visit this cafe together at least once a month. It had outdoor seating, and the weather was finally warm enough again for them to sit outside with light jackets.
Naminé stopped buttering her scone for a moment and frowned. It was a simple enough question, and yet she found herself unsure of what to say.
“Well, I suppose it was the day Sora released his heart to save you,” she said at last. “But as glad as I am to be alive, it feels strange to celebrate that day, considering what happened.”
“I understand,” Kairi said softly. “Are there any other days you can think of?”

I can finally show my piece for Born From the Waves, @naminezine!
the idea idea of my piece is a journey through the art, with her art style evolving from pencils sketches to complex paintings, collecting inspirations from various worlds. Her friends gave her lucky charms and souvenirs to be with her during her journey❤️
I’ve also used a couple of real paintings as reference!
Due to the theme of the zine, naminé’s time and adventures in different worlds, and the title, I’ ve played with them and so here naminé with her dress emerging from the sea foam, her drawing from all the worlds scattered around, and a Pocahontas’ reference with the compass and the wind guiding her on her path.

Hello, everyone! We have some very exciting news to share! Our new charms have finally arrived and shipping of physical orders will commence immediately!

We thank you for your patience as always! As we’ve mentioned in our last update, there have been some difficulties with our silver-foil charm manufacturer. However, we have finally received an accurate sample to be produced! We have been told production should be finished late this month, so hopefully we will be seeing them very soon.
Here are some photos of our new sample charm, lovely bracelets, and other goodies being packaged!
Important announcement: Due to a manufacturing error, we are pushing shipping back to the end of February. We apologize for this delay! Thank you so much for your support so far! Please stay tuned for more updates!
