Sri Varaha Narasimha of Simhachalam, the deity is considered very angry, to “cool” it is covered by a thick layer of sandalwood pulp (photo 1) which is only removed once a year, when the deity can be seen (it was yesterday in the Akshaya Tritiya), the third photo is a clearer copy of the original deity.
