I made some baby MonHun pins off doodles I’ve done in the past, I’m pretty happy with how they’ve turned out! Deviljho turned out to be my favorite design! Just a curious detail I noticed about the Nargacuga armor in Monster Hunter Stories. Apparently, the mesh portion of the armor is opaque in MH Stories as opposed to the see-through fishnet of the main games, almost making it look like some kind of scale mail instead of fishnet.
I can’t say for sure whether this was done intentionally or by mistake, but based on other screenshots I’ve seen, this detail persists across all versions of the game (3DS, mobile, and the Japan-only Monstie Drop spin-off) and all versions of the armor.
Not sure why they chose the color they did, but it seems to be the same as the default color of the Hermitaur armor’s pigtails, so I guess it’s just a re-used asset.
