I’m bringing several small paintings to the convention, as many as I can get finished up in the next few days. Here’s just a sampling of what I’ll have, I’ll work to try and post a few more as they get wrapped up in the next few days. Works are inks and acrylics on paper, some of them old prints experimented on and reworked into something new, all various sizes.

Part 3 of my @designercon exclusives available at booth 1013 starting this Friday, Nov 12 (VIP night).

I’m proud of this new print: “Witness,” an image I’ve been working on for the last several months. It’s finally available in printed form by the aces at @staticmedium (thanks Leah and crew!).
The archival giclée print measures 18”x18,” printed on Moab Entrada 100% cotton rag. It exists in two colorways: “Aubergine” and “Vidirdian” (shown in order). Aubergine comes in a limited edition of 100 (only 75 available at DesignerCon) for $100 each. Viridian has an edition size of 60 (only 45 available at the convention) for $120 each. Strict limit of no more than two of each per person/household.

In addition, I’ll have hand embellished versions available of each colorway, and will be hand embellishing them live during my live painting sessions (schedule coming soon). They will be available for $275 and $285 respectively, strict limit of only ONE per person. I’ll have about 4 on hand for the convention, plus a few extra done in the live painting sessions.

Part 2 of my @designercon exclusives at booth 1013.

The next two in the Lepidoptera series: Lepidoptera 8 “Mycelium” and Lepidoptera 9: “Viper” will be first available at the convention this coming Friday.
The archival giclée prints measure 10”x8” on cold press natural cotton rag, expertly printed by @davecorreia, who has done all of my Lepidoptera prints to date (thank you Dave). The prints are a limited edition of 200, each print signed and numbered.

These will be available as a set of one of each print, for $90. There will be a strict limit of two sets MAX per person for those purchasing on behalf of someone else. Full details on purchase limits for the convention in upcoming newsletter. There will be 150 sets available at Dcon, with the remainders available in a post-convention online drop.

I am woefully behind on announcing all I’ll have for sale for the rapidly approaching @designercon (opening this Friday, November 12—14 at the Anaheim Convention Center) so bear with me as I try to parcel out some of the exclusives over the next few days.

First up are my artist copies of my recent @311 gig poster. “Recent” is a relative term- the gig was in August, I *think* that delay counts as normal in the current world climate? Either way, the prints will be available exclusively at my booth (1013), starting on VIP night: Friday Nov 12.

My artist variants come in two colorways: Ice and Fire: my super creative naming scheme referring to the tones of each colorway.
Prints are limited edition on paper, holographic rainbow foil and gold foil, in addition to a super limited (only two each!) amount of hand embellished prints on paper. The prints turned out fantastic, a special thank you for the incredible care and attention to detail taken by the stellar crew at @endhymns. They do excellent work. Pricing, quantities, purchase limits and daily availability will go out in the newsletter and on my website soon.

Excited to announce my artist variants from my recent @primusville gig poster.

I’ll have a stack of copies from the show version run as well as my artist variants in two colorways: “Ice” (in blues) and “Fire” (in reds, natch). In addition, I’ll have EXTREMELY limited foils for each variant colorway as well as a couple hand embellished prints in each colorway for those preferring their rock posters scribbled all over with inks, acrylics, metallics and iridescents.

My intrepid team of biologists have announced two new entries in the Lepidoptera catalogue. Presenting Lepidoptera 12: “Skul” and Lepidoptera 13: “Poppy.”

Extensive research has revealed two unique color patterns for each moth. Skul specimens with the “Oxide” designation display a carapace in blue and black with coppery notes throughout, echoed in its teal and hazel stare. Meanwhile the “Viscera” flavor of Skul is haunted by deep rich reds, blues and purples, contrasting its pale lavender eyes. Both seem to have a rigid metallic edge, to seemingly protect their fragile wings?

It’s hard to miss a Poppy with the “Pomegranate” color pattern. It is a bold specimen, with rich reds, pinks and purples surrounding its fiery gaze. On the other hand, the “Peridot” variety is a delicate and subtle mix of soft greens and blues, edged by a subtle orange. This color harmony is echoed in its pale amber eyes, edged in green.

Individual catalogue pages of these new specimens can be acquired for your own study and viewing pleasure, in a forthcoming limited edition release. Some of our more enthusiastic researchers have provided a select few hand-painted catalogue pages. No two alike, these were documented on location in the field, using inks, paints, and iridescent media to uniquely enhance the design. These have become more elaborate and time consuming over the years, so we have had to adjust the purchase price accordingly.

The full collection will be available through our online emporium this coming Friday, but be warned! The folios are limited in quantity, and the hand painted pages in particular are extremely coveted, and seem to vanish from the library first. Those who are subscribed to our periodic journal: ‘The Art Bucket’ can find exact details regarding the optimum time to attempt an acquisition (sign up for the newsletter for exact drop time).

I’m very excited to finally reveal a new set of art prints I’ve been working on for almost three years, through a collaboration with @probetheneoneye.

“Spring Eternal” is the return. The inevitable rebirth of Spring that reliably follows the cold dormancy of Winter. The new beginning and hope that comes no matter how frigid and dark the winter has been. In a season that has felt like a long winter (in so many different ways) it is a good habit to remember that in fact “this too, shall pass.” As trite and pithy as the aphorism is, there’s a reason it continues to have such staying power, and why it seems more important than ever to hold front of mind.

“No matter how dark it has been, the light will inevitably come.”

“Spring Eternal” is a complete reworking of an image used first in a gig poster from 2019. I knew I wanted to do more with the image, and over a period of almost three years I refined the linework, depth, design, color, and tonal range. I basically tried to improve the design in every way I could. Along the way, I created two brand new smaller companion prints, collectively titled “A Single Moment.”

The prints come in sets of three: “Spring Eternal” at 20” x 27” and the two companion prints “A Single Moment,” both 10” x 12.” The prints are screen printed on archival Cranes Lettra Cotton Rag with hand torn edges. All prints are in limited editions, each hand signed, numbered and embossed in matching colorways and come with a Neon Eye certificate of authenticity. Three colorways available (shown in order):
