the thing i think people dont pick up on neon j and djss in terms of similarity is how theyre both essentially unhinged mad scientists. if neon j told djss about him giving his robot AIs trauma to make them work harder the ethics portion would fly over djs head because he would be more interested in the efficiency data. if djss told neon j about his plan to become an avatar to extraterrestrials by blasting his music into space the absolute insanity of that idea would bypass neon j because he would be too caught up in asking about hypothetical alien scenarios.
and to clarify they would be absolutely insufferable to be around because a conversation about the weather would spiral into discussing the proper defense strategy in the event of an apocalyptic meteor strike or something. this would turn into an argument that spans for two weeks before its resolved
