My second piece for @kyluxbigbangandOne Life Stand by PalenDrome ( @nerdherderette).

Just one thing to say about this: When I read this one particular scene for the very first time, I knew exactly how I was going to draw it.

“Finally, a work of art I can appreciate.” The man tilts the glass of merlot he’s holding in a mock toast. His voice is smooth and charming, with the hint of a delightful Irish brogue. It’s hardly a subtle pickup line, but the teasing lilt in his flirtation causes Ben’s stomach to flip.

I happened to stumble upon this year’s @kyluxbigbang and was able to collaborate with the talented @nerdherderette. She made this modern!AU come to life so vividly I was in awe because this idea has been in my head for several years.
