My favourite thing about the Neues Museum was that with the audio guide you were given information on the room of the museum itself, namely how badly it was damaged during the bombings of WWII and what is original, replaced, or a replica of the original building.
I loved that with basically every severely damaged room, they rebuilt it, but left the walls and ceilings in their original, and damaged, state.
