I just finished reading the most powerful book I’ve read in a long time. Jonathan Hernandez wrote this incredible book about his brother Aaron Hernandez. I had to put it down several times because of the raw emotion. My heart breaks for all of the people that were hurt and affected by Aaron. Of course, I found myself grieving for Odin Lloyd’s family. But I also found myself grieving for Aaron’s family and for Aaron himself. Aaron was so young, with so much promise, but he had so much trauma. Aaron had the worst case of CTE ever seen in someone his age, and it was largely in the frontal lobe of his brain, the decision making part. All I can tell you is get the book and read it. It’s so powerful.

#tbt … in the spirit of the @atlsuperbowl53 and the fact our @patriots won!! I’m posting this picture of the cover of the 2004/2005 @patriotscheerleaders swimsuit calendar I shot! I photographed the entire calendar by myself! I would consider it one of my top ten accomplishments I’ve achieved over my 23 year career as a professional photographer! Definitely an assignment I will never forget!

As proud as I am to have photographed this calendar… I’m actually even more proud of all the money I raised for various charities with signed calendars I donated!! Over $10,000 was raised! The @patriots organization were very instrumental in helping me achieve that feat with all the calendars they sent me. I was very grateful that they believed in me and my vision.

I did this photo shoot of @Gronk back in 2012!! He was a great guy and great to work with! It’s been fun following him and his career! I hope he has a great game today and help lead the @patriots to win @atlsuperbowl53 !!

On a side note: I had Rob sign 5 footballs in which I donated to 5 different charities that helped raise over $2,500 !! He was more than happy to sign them as I promised him they would find a good home!
