Fuck. Chucky cackles inside her mind before settling back. She’s not sure if this had been part of his plan, or if the trajectory had been in place since the start of their conversation. Are you seriously trying to get me killed here? I know I’m not going to live long, but I at least wanna live a little more. Chucky grumbles and she knows he can hear her. Shoulda went with the heart from the guy the other day, kid.
She looks at the blade in the doll’s hand and different thoughts run through her mind. It’s not the first time she’s been threatened, and she knows it’s not going to be the last, but she’s not afraid. She knows Tiffany isn’t bluffing and she feigns hurt as the gift falls.
“Aw, I thought women liked getting flowers.” She gives a shrug before a smirk works up at the corners of her mouth. “’m pretty sure he’d come out to stop you before you hurt me too much. I’m personally more worried about my heart giving out rather than how much blood I’d end up losing.”
There’s a nonchalance that kind of scares her, but it’s not something she hadn’t felt before. “Legs are kinda covered in scar tissue but it’s not like I could feel it anyway.” She knew the doll, though. Blood wasn’t enough. It was the mixture of blood and pain that set her off, just as it did Chucky. They were some pair, and maybe some part of Nica envied their closeness. Maybe.
So the flowers were her idea. Of course they were. There was never any doubt in Tiffany’s mind. The question was why. Why would Nica bring her a gift and lie about it being from her beloved? What was the game here?
“Aww, that’s right. I almost forgot about your little heartproblem…”
Looming forward, the little doll delicately rests the tip of her blade at the centre of Nica’s chest.
“Da-dum… Da-dum… Da-dum…” A soft yet sinister little giggle trails after her words as they follow the pattern of Nica’s ever growing heart rate.
“Da-dum…. da-dum… da-dum, da-dum, da-dum da-dumda-DUM!HYAAAAH!!!” — There’s a steely THWACK,accompanied by instant blood spray as the doll spins in one swift move…
…Wide eyed and silent, her wicked mouth agape in delighted surprise as she watches Nica’s finger fly several inches across the table, bouncing ever so slightly as it lands upon the hard surface…………
