Hi all, I haven’t been uploading or reblogging in a while (but in a moment, I’ll be reblogging some fantastic Animorphs fanart for you all to see and love. This is still an Animorph blog) mostly because had my focus on another fic in another fandom and progress on my current Animorphs one is slow.

But I had been thinking of making a post talking about my two OCs, V’trix and Elle, in a bit more detail. I have many ideas, even art plans to show them but always held them back cuz I’m still in the current fic (and some thoughts are spoilers for future things). But with it being so long, I want to just share about them. Talk about them, be like any creator who wants to talk about their OCs. But I also have a fear it’d be another too long post you guys might get bored of X’D (and I won’t blame ya. I can zone out too). Plus, I know not everyone likes ocs, hence why I’m making this post.

So going ask this to you guys who have been following Sario Effect: would you like to know more about these two? See a breakdown in their characters or something small? Just fun/interesting stuff about a Controller and her Yeerk friend (excluding a few secrets I’ll have to hold back). Maybe some pictures/concept too. Let me know you’d like that. 

honestly the lengths at which deuce will go to not converse with people is funny. he has social media accs (mostly his sister made profiles for him) but he only uses one daily, pinterest. 

if he uploaded a recipe to pinterest and somebody commented on it, he’d just delete the recipe.

Once again my head’s version of my characters being so different from the canon one is making me laugh so hard.

Like, hearing my mind’s Sann say he knows he exists to be Al’s partner and that was the reason he was allowed to live but also say he dislikes him because he doesn’t feel anything towards him actually, is so fucking weird. Seeing my mind’s Albus being the most perfect pet ever with layers upon layers of sweetness derived from fear and anxiety shown in submissiveness and meekness is so funny too. But oh, no, how dare I suddenly make it a lil bit more fun and have Albus get an spontaneous fever to see their reactions.

Sann picked him up and just glared at me, furious, while Al curled up in his arms telling him it was fine, that he would be just fine. See? You do care about him. Don’t lie. It’s not only my wish as the author for you to get closer. You also allow him to touch you and kiss you. You could push him away couldn’t you? But no. You pull him closer because that’s what YOU want.

Anyways, my characters are independent from me and I pretty much enjoy watching that unfold.

I love the way you interact with your characters!

I do a similar thing sometimes although I generally have more control over the plot and characterization. Sometimes I still end up having imaginary interactions with them. It’s fun to argue with them xD

I love interacting with other people’s OCs and letting my OCs interact with people too. It’s fun.

I’d love to talk more about them!! Sorry it’s taken me this long to respond, but a lot of things have…happened. :/

The first character in blue is named Adon. He’s a sea witch (or warlock under the DnD class system) from a large and ever expanding family of magic users. The only boy out of 9 siblings. (Though he’s actually got a few half brothers from his monster parent’s side.) 

He lives in an abandoned lighthouse off The Coast of Swords. Somewhere North of Waterdeep. The sandy speckles on his body are almost indicative of the years he’s spent there. Like a worn, weather-beaten rock. Adon is passive, prone to deep contemplative states. It’s hard to get a rise out of him, but when it happens it’s all kinds of stormy and wild. He means well for the most part. Spending most of his days taking care of his lighthouse and the sea creatures that make their home beneath.

The second person is an Overseer by the name of Jonah (They/Them). Previously a commoner on the isle of Tyvia. Poverty stricken and with no means to provide for their children, Jonah’s parents gave them up to recruiters from the Abbey. Hoping they, at least, would pass the trials of aptitude and live a better life. 

Jonah went on to become a successful Warefare Overseer and led a party of “witch hunters” across the isle of Gristol. Unfortunately, during one of these same quests, they were outmatched by an old cult and were left wounded trying to protect their own. Recovery was a slow and imperfect process. Their legs would never again be the same and the months spent inside all those quiet, hospital rooms were enough to drive them stir crazy. In that time, however, they picked up the habit of writing. Mainly journaling until the hobby progressed into a finer art. Jonah had fallen into a deep depression, but rekindled the light of their faith through poetry. Unable to rejoin their brothers in arms, Jonah now serves the Abbey as a scholar and writer of psalms.

The third character is an artist named Pucc. Originally an Institute synth meant to be a doppelganger. Though before he could even masquerade as the waster who wore his face, Pucc had already made his escape. Something had gone awry in his programming that made him aware of a certain split in personality. He wasn’t actually the raider the institute had so quietly snubbed, despite possessing all of their memories. He was an entirely different person.

Pucc’s road to freedom was a harsh one, but it ended in the good, graceful stop of Acadia. Deep in the island of Far Harbor where so many other synths had taken refuge. There he was free to explore his own interests and found himself endlessly fascinated with the visual arts. Though with resources low as they are in Fallout, he limits himself to charcoal sketches, clay sculpting and even the modern ready-mades.

trying to find the overarching theme in my story because the third installment is so different from the other two and I realized it’s “who can you hurt with as few people complaining as possible?”

while I’m fleshing out characters I want to talk about Abby because I’m designing her and she is such a villainous villain to me so have some Abby facts

• instead of a crow mask like her compatriots she has a plague doctor mask
• she’s a mama’s girl and Wanda’s right hand arm. woman.
• she hates men. full stop, full gender essentialism. she’s terrible to the male protagonists like Mercy’s 18 year old client Tom, and the male darwins under her thumb like Derrick or Evan. this isn’t some cute lady dimitrescu “stupid manthing” thing she has going on she’s just awful to men on principle.
• she’s the golden child, the family favorite.
• she’s into astrology on the side and she’s a gemini
• since I’m working on the concept art I get to draw her in more casual clothes so she looks like a matrix Katniss Everdeen

Norman convinces his boyfriend to go for a walk with him and Dolby, but Perci complains most the time about it being dirty and buggy but refuses to wear bug spray, and when Norman tries to kiss him he pushes him away and goes “NO YOU’RE STINKY”(from bug spray) and then Norman is like “well FINE I’ll hang near my good friend DOLBY who isn’t afraid of some bug spray-” and then Dolby backs away and goes “no you’re stinky”(from bug spray) and Norman is left betrayed and stinky(from bug spray)
