The battle continues, even while still embracing hope and acknowledging grief. A fitting reading for these days of war and the slow but inexorable collapse of climate and civilisation. These are indeed the days of contradictions, hope and grief as we battle on to try and realise a new way of living, a different way of existing… of just battling to survive when we will need hope more than anything amongst the coming carnage, it looks like change must come through destruction before we can transform. We spent yesterday emptying the she shed and finally got insulation on the walls and ceiling. Blessed full moon to all! This will be the last full moon I will have the Birthing Shaman at my altar, after Mabon I will be fully honouring the dark queen to Samhain. I added my Rowan thread to my altar for this full moon, honouring the bounty of the growing season, an offering in hopes of a kind winter season ahead. This last week has been challenging and I have felt strung tight and at discord with the world around me, the world experienced through a filter of mild foreboding and low level anxiety. Today I really took time to ground and reset my practice again and the cards revealed the path ahead.
