Claim marks (bonds) are a sense of pride and status in omegaverse. The more claim marks a person has, the more loved and cared for they are. People with no claim marks are often looked down on OR others are extremely protective of them because they have no one to protect and care for them. Some people will even try to claim them out of pity, desire, or want of power.
