 Nose tapping is exactly what it sounds like, it’s when individuals will rub and or bump/boop their noses together. This is often a form of greetings in close friendships, relationships and families. It also could be a form of reassurance. Nose taps are also a way to make your bond stronger, since you’re getting close to their scent glands around the area.

It can also help to be able to distinguish their pups and kiddies from others. Whether a strangers or if you have many. While they can see the differences, it’s always good to make sure by scent.

Fluffy Pregnancy Headcanons (Omega+Alphacouple)

• A few weeks after the Omega’s heat their Alpha wakes up in the middle of the night to their omega whimpering and retching over a bucket because they woke up feeling really sick.
• The Alpha holds their mate’s hair back and rubs their back whilst purring, hoping it soothes their upset love.
• When the omega falls back asleep the Alpha stays awake for hours, making sure their omega is safe.
• When the omega wakes up they are continually vomiting all morning until they get so weak that their Alpha simply picks them up and takes them to the doctor.
• After the doctor dismisses the Alpha’s fear of stomach flu they set up an ultrasound to have a look at the omega’s stomach.
• The omega lays there weakly, clutching their Alpha’s hand as the doctor puts gel on their stomach and starts the ultrasound.
• After a few seconds the doctor points at the screen, encouraging the couple to look at three little dots on the screen.

• The Alpha frowns and fixes a big bowl of ice cream to cheer up the omega who can’t resist the sweet treat. When they’ve finished their Alpha gently undresses them and cuddles them close, kissing their neck and running their hands all over the omega, paying particular attention to the omegas big beautiful tummy. They insist that the omega has never looked so gorgeous.
• One day the Alpha brings up decorating the baby room and the omega gets soooo excited, producing a scrapbook they made when they were a teen, mapping out just how they want the baby room to look.
• The Alpha goes all out, making sure to get everything right to please their precious mate.
• They insist that they don’t want their pregnant mate around the paint fumes so they encourage them to go out with their omega bestie who takes the pregnant omega shopping for baby clothes.
• The Omega goes into labour one morning but is too scared to cry out for their Alpha.
• Their Alpha finds them in the nest sobbing and holding their bump, trying to soothe themselves through a harsh contraction. The Alpha undresses in a flash and crawls into the nest, holding their omega close to their bare skin and rubbing their back to soothe some of the pain.
• The pair spend the day in the nest as the Alpha holds the omega and massages them and spoon feeds them ice chips as they pant through the pains.
• When the omega starts pushing the alpha sits behind them, gently wiping their hot skin with a cool cloth and purring and encouraging them as they deliver their three beautiful pups.

Accidental courting!!

An alpha that keeps baking cookies for this omega they know because they’re their favourite and they helped them with their work last week so really it’s just paying them back … right?

But it keeps happening. The alpha finds themselves lending their sweaters, bringing extra coffee, and unconscious scent marking the omega.

Could lead to misunderstandings and angst or confessions ! Maybe ends with a didn’t know they were dating type deal.

Honestly I love the “we didn’t know we were dating” type of stuff for an Alpha and an Omega. Cause like there’s a lot of straight forward courtship headcanons, but like an Alpha and an Omega who just start as friends at first, like not even trying they just get along since forever. And they just do things couples do naturally because they don’t think much of it.

Omega will make a nest in the Alpha’s room and spend the night with him/her inside of it. Just sleepover time, no biggie.

Alpha will constantly lend clothes and blankets for the Omega to nest and to wear in school/college/work.

Alpha will cook and clean for the Omega whenever the Omega needs it or is feeling unwell.

Omega will groom the Alpha. Wash his hair, brush it, pluck his eyebrows.

They’ll go to the movies, to have lunch, shopping together.

They always reject each other’s potential mates, saying “she’s not a good fit”, “he doesn’t know you at all, look at what he just said, stupid” and things like that.

And maybe one day one of them actually goes out with someone and they both feel horrible about it. The Alpha/Omega constantly keeps thinking about the other, not paying attention to his/her date at all. And at the end of the night they just have to go see the other. Because it didn’t feel right and he needs to hug the other right now! And then they realise they love each other and always have, just didn’t know yet.

Omegas seem to always be in pain during their heats, it’s apparently a common trope in A/B/O fics. They only get better when they finally have sex.

But I suggest alphas in pain during their rut.

I personally don’t like much the “pain” but I see this “heat symptoms” like menstrual cramps but instead of treating with pain medicines and heat therapy (heating pad or hot water bottle) you treat with warm dicks and/or suppressants. And some omegas have strong pains than others.

bottom alpha headcanons (nsfw)

• alphas having pleasure via anal penetration is basically a sexual common knowledge, but it still seeing as a taboo by many people, and straight up dirty and wrong by traditionalists;

Main Omegaverse AU: In predominantly Beta packs, there are usually two main leaders. (Sometimes a pair of siblings or a pair of friends share one or even both of these categories.) Mainly Beta packs hold two hierarchies of males and females. (Note that you can be any genderand also have a rank in these hierarchies.)

The two leaders of these categories are seen as equal, they are neither matriarchal or patriarchal.

A mainly Beta pack doesn’t mean it’s a pack with mostly Betas in it with Alphas and Omegas. As that is far to common, as Betas usually outnumber both Alphas and Omegas by 3:1. A mainly Beta pack is a pack with mostly Betas run by at least one Beta. If an Alpha or Omega take both of the leadership roles, or just kick the Beta leader down to instead have both leadership roles for themselves, it then becomes a regular pack. (Household or Broad etc)

Second and Third Omegaverse AU: Since I based Betas off of African wild dogs in allmy verses, this explanation will be similar. The difference is however is that I base my Main Omegaverse AU Betas on a 45/45/5 mixtureof wolves and African wild dogs. While in these verses it’s 90/5/5 African wild dogbehavior with a hint of wolf.The remaining percents are how much I have made up behaviors in to help it fit in my verse.

So for Betas in this verse, they also have a male and female category rank. And also are referred as mainly Beta Packs if they have mostly Betas and are run by at least one Beta. And of course, will turn into a different type of pack if no Beta is running it.

 The difference is however is that Betas are matriarchal, so even the lowest ranking in the female category will always be higher than the highest ranking male. Males outnumber females by 3:1 as well and females often will leave in search for other packs while males will stay.

Alpha Females status will be transferred usually to the oldest female after they pass or leave. But Alpha Females will always keep their status until then. 

Alpha Male status is usually determined by the oldest male as well but also this isn’t guaranteed and is more fluid.

 The alpha pair will ‘monopolize’ breeding and the ‘betas,’ (as of rank not of dynamic) will always have their pups afterthe Alpha Betas. Unless they can’t have pups together. Though if they communicate adoption with the pack then the betas will still have to wait unless granted otherwise.

Males in packs are usually related in some way while Females are usually unrelated to the males. Though of course, siblings and cousins are possible. But in order for these females to have pups, they must leave the pack in search for another. Sometimes when two individuals fall in love, they’ll leave the pack with them. Or if two related are running the pack, they can adopt. Adoption is almost always considered.

How this works for non-binary or out of the binary genders for the verses: Some packs categorize these individuals as the assigned gender at birth. (Of course, with communication) while some don’t care and leave it to be more broad. If they’re non-binary but are assigned male at birth but want to be part of the female hierarchy then thats totally accepted. As some assigned females who identify as a girl also can be apart of them. (Usually though they don’t have this drive unless they have a lot of testosterone in them). 


 Some packs even categorize their rankings as not “male,” or “female,” but rather, “Masuline,” and “Feminine,” even if they don’t have any non binary or out of the binary gendered people in their pack.

So, in my ‘My Main Omegaverse AU,’ I talked about Alpha’s dens and how they make them for an Omega to nest in them as well as have their own space. However, they can also be used to court a Beta but I wanted to give it its own post

 Beta’s cocoon where ever they see fit. And while them cocooning in a Alpha’s den can indicate of accepting the courting the gesture, it doesn’t always. Usually, a way to a Beta’s heart is courting through love languages and gifts. They’re not overly critical or overthinking usually, so when an Alpha comes to them with three large bouquets of flowers, they’re sometimes confused.

 But once that happens, a way to see if the Alpha and Beta’s relationship has entered the next stage, is when the Beta cocoons, and it just might be in the Alpha’s den, and it’s on the bed, or chair, or wherever their partner (of any dynamic) may spend the most time resting.

Omega Nesting Headcanons

-Omega’s nests are often known for all the soft objects inside. But some individuals will keep things like pebbles or rocks inside as well to help situate the ‘base,‘ or ‘formation,’ of the nest better.

- Some Omegas will lowly growl if you come into their nest unannounced.

-Omega nests are often seen as something an Omega justcantbe away from for long. Which annoys many Omega’s because they can be away from their nest if needed.

-Stores usually have a section full of nesting supplies for Omegas. It’s sometimes hard for them to pick and can get overwhelmed. So bringing someone with them, is usually the best thing.

-Omegas that nest with those metal wires with the fluff attached to help hang lights inside.

-Omegas that have just a pile of smooth rocks inside because they like heating them up with a heating pad before laying on them.

-Unknowing Omega pups that follow their Omega parent instructions without knowing that their parent is teaching them.

-Omega’s that have been raised in a large pack that have been shown to nest, cocoon and den and keep everyone in the same room.

-Omega’s cuddling with their mates clothes, stealing them to smell their scent.

-Omega’s and Their mate(s) snuggling in their nest together. Finding it all warm and fuzzy inside.

-Omega’s that live in place that has more of a hot climate nest in these basket structures, clay structures or even just under a desk.

-They are more prone to start nesting at night.

-Omega’s that live in the mountains may have down feathers in their nest. As some villages have been shown to gather some down from birds nests to use. However they always make sure to leave enough to help warm the eggs.

-Nesting is a crucial part of an Omega’s development and if they aren’t allowed, their Omegan tendencies will be stunted. Some mild, some extreme.

-Some Omega’s will drag anyone that they find comfort or love in their nests to shower them with affection.
