Who gave Sir Terry Pratchett the right to feel like a distant uncle who has always been part of my family and shows up to give magical advice when you need it even if no one is quite sure where he comes from and also how can he talk about religion in a way that isn’t uncomfortable because it feels like he understands how shitty things can be and that is exactly why I can trust him when he says that things are not always shitty
It should be said that I’m 66 pages in so wish me luck in my journey of simultaneously finding and mourning my new favorite author
