It’s kind of a painful experience for his crew watching the two of you. Killer wants to slam his head into a pillar and chuck his mask into the abyss with his captain sometimes
There’s not a confession, really. Just a declaration of “you’re mine!” especially if there was a chance of losing you and he was frustrated enough
His actions speak louder than words, with that being said, he has lowkey physical affection. Like if he’s jealous, he’ll straight up make out with you while glaring at the person who’s making him jealous. But he won’t like do vulnerable actions like kissing your forehead for example
The closest “I love you” is when you say it first and he goes “I’m with you, aren’t I? So you know how I feel”
“I love you” really only comes out when he’s feeling vulnerable or can sense that you need to hear it
He’s not used to soft touches and you’ll have to introduce him to them, it’s one of the for sure ways to embarrass him or get him flustered
It’s nice to think that he doesn’t get mad at you but it’s Kid. He sometimes picks fights because he’s always on the defense. Him and Killer have always had to defend themselves so he’s always on fight or flight mode
When he’s not so angry, he’ll try to act like everything is normal and you’ll have to bring up the argument and ask to properly make up
He hates when you’re around other captains. Like if you find Luffy endearing or Law cool, he’ll hide you behind him and pick a fight with them
Even with his hot-headedness, he takes the opinions of his crew highly with Killer and you being at the top
He doesn’t care for anniversaries or anything commemorative because he gives you little trinkets throughout your relationship whenever he feels like it so it doesn’t matter to him
He gets a big head whenever you brag about him or insist to others that he’s gonna be king with the One Piece. His crew believes in him too but there’s something about those comments coming from you that makes his ego inflate but also his heart

Wano is where he’s dealing with the most emotional blows. He was in frustrated tears with what happened to Killer, if anything happened to you, his whole world would shatter
After he escapes prison with Killer and gathers his crew, you have to comfort him when no one is around and reassure him of his captain role
There is no calming him from his rage at Kaidoh, Apoo, or Hawkins, so don’t try to sway him away from that
Before the big battle, he takes you away to his private quarters. It’s not fear or hesitance that he shows you. It’s like he’s reassuring himself that you’re no longer locked away from him, that you’re actually there
He’s willing to face the Yonko alone if it meant avenging you and his friends. He’ll never give mercy to those that have hurt you
