We’ve invited 35 artists and writers to review their favourite sports anime. This zine is by no means an encyclopaedia, but a collection of favourites. The zine includes a blank page at the end where you can write your own review!

Long time no see, everyone!
I’ve been organising a zine where i asked my friends to review their favourite sports anime! We have reviews of old classics like Touch and Slam Dunk, but there are also a lot of love for recent favourites like Yuri On ICE!! and Haikyuu!

It wasn’t that they meant to be so discreet when they started dating. They had every intention of telling the team, but there never seemed to be an appropriate time. So when they finally had the chance, they took it, but this wasn’t the response they thought they would get.
“Is that all?” Izumi asked with a bored expression.
“What?” Abe looked at his teammates, confusion growing as none of them looked surprised, and it didn’t help that Mihashi’s fidgeting was getting worse by the second.
“I could tell within the first week!” Tajima exclaimed before throwing his head back in laughter.
Annoyed, Abe glared at Tajima while Mihashi turned a brilliant shade of red. “So, what, you just told the whole team then?”
“Yeah, he did,” Hanai smiled awkwardly as he scratched at his cheek.
Abe sighed and willed his anger to calm as he took a slow-measured breath. Of course, Tajima would find out, he’s best friends with Mihashi, and Mihashi was terrible at hiding things. At the very least, his teammates didn’t seem to care.
For years, Kanou has watched Mihashi’s back, believing wholeheartedly that Mihashi was the better pitcher. For so many years he’s been forced to watch Mihashi curl into himself with hunched shoulders and shaky hands. Anxiety and words cut Mihashi down when all Kanou has wanted to do was raise him up.
Finally, years later Kanou sees Mihashi stand tall on the mound with an air of confidence as he looks around at his teammates, his voice calling louder than Kanou has ever heard it.
His childhood friend plays against him as his rival and Kanou has never been happier to finally see Mihashi believe in himself the way Kanou has for so many years.
