DAY 5:Sacrifice Mihashi and Abe continue to play baseball and date while at their respective colleges after high school. After graduation, Mihashi continues to play on professional teams while Abe finds work outside of baseball. When Mihashi is offered a pitching position on an American Major League team, the couple has to make sacrifices in order to move and start over their lives in a different country. Abe is able to find work again as Mihashi adjusts to his new team. Mihashi continues to pitch well and has his boyfriend support him every step of the way. Their sacrifices were not in vain, as shown in the image above. The couple celebrates another win for Mihashi’s team.
Apologies for forgetting to put numbers and last names on their shirts! I was going to give Mihashi his trademark “1″ while Abe has both the “1″ and Mihashi’s name. I didn’t have the time to include them ;;

This is for day 6 of AbeMiha week @oofurishipweeks. It was really hard to choose which sport to do for the alternate sport AU prompt. But I guess I’ve got summer fever or something since I keep putting these two on the beach XD

This is for day 3 of AbeMiha week @oofurishipweeks. I really wanted to participate in this AU and I’m so glad I did! I really like this idea of Mihashi being a witch with a bossy familiar that helps him refine his craft. I’d like to flesh this idea out more some time. I’m not totally happy with how this piece came out but I’m on a time crunch so it’ll have to do for now. Hopefully I can redo it sometime after I’ve mastered the art of doing eye whites correctly XD

It wasn’t that they meant to be so discreet when they started dating. They had every intention of telling the team, but there never seemed to be an appropriate time. So when they finally had the chance, they took it, but this wasn’t the response they thought they would get.
“Is that all?” Izumi asked with a bored expression.
“What?” Abe looked at his teammates, confusion growing as none of them looked surprised, and it didn’t help that Mihashi’s fidgeting was getting worse by the second.
“I could tell within the first week!” Tajima exclaimed before throwing his head back in laughter.
Annoyed, Abe glared at Tajima while Mihashi turned a brilliant shade of red. “So, what, you just told the whole team then?”
“Yeah, he did,” Hanai smiled awkwardly as he scratched at his cheek.
Abe sighed and willed his anger to calm as he took a slow-measured breath. Of course, Tajima would find out, he’s best friends with Mihashi, and Mihashi was terrible at hiding things. At the very least, his teammates didn’t seem to care.
