The WIPs of Birthday Month

Birthday Month is officially over…and it was very energizing and refreshing! So here’s some WIPs from all the wandering my brain did as I let myself be creative and work on what I wanted to without regard to anything else. Some of my best meshes to date I think for original stuff, and puzzle-piecing together old meshes for other uses was equally satisfying. Have I even mentioned that meshing and texturing are my favorite parts of the process?

On today’s edition of “Maxis, Why?”

Maxis…why can’t you have a simple freaking animation for drinking a potion?

Your creature creation/cures all come in the flavor of “stuck a fork in a socket”.

Your Gypsy Potions (aka Love Potion which seems to be the basis of all potion animations that are not creature ones…) are slightly less shocking looking, but have stupid music attached to them.

Your medicine/biotech viruses are ALMOST perfect…save they’re only fit for test tube sized nonsense and therefore the hand is going to ALWAYS clip…

So I’m forced to choose the lesser of these evils.Just have to figure out which it is…

sunmoon-starfactory:

The Sun&Moon timeout controller by Fire_flower is a controller and a token combination that will be required by future stations that involve autonomous interactions by non-playable sims, including households currently not being played (non-selectables).

What the controller does, is simple: when an action is taken that calls the timeout command, it adds a token with a timer to the sim who took a particular action. The controller makes the timer tick. Once the timer runs out, the sim that has been given the timeout token, will be free to do the thing again. Feel free to dig around the code if you feel like it. Do NOT modify or redistribute it as the controller may be updated in the future.

Now just what could we be doing with this….

“Soon may the laundry mod come, to bring us washers and lines and tubs. One day when the scrubbing is done we’ll take our clothes and go”
