Theo, this baby looks so inhuman, I love it so much!!! And the lighting in this is just stunning! Like, the composition, and colors, and anatomy are all Greta, but this light just gives it something, to? Fucking delightful! And the details in the outfit too? 10/10

Yessss that was my main goal here! A few nights ago I went into a youtube rabbit hole about parrots, grey africans to precise which are widely intelligent. Watching the birds look so intently at their owners and respond to them with human words made me strangely uneasy. having something tell you “Give me a peanut!” with perfect pronunciation only for it to imitate a microwave going of a second later is so creepy, because you really don’t know how much of it is conversation and how much is just mimicry.
So I wanted to design a fae, where humans would wonder the same. One moment the fae talks and acts pretty much like them, only to tilt their head to the side in an impossible angle, stare unblinkingly into your soul and chirp.
also when fae whumpee is saved and asked what happened, instead of telling caretaker in their own words they mimic whumper with terrifying accuracy. Painting a disturbing picture of their mistreatment.
