If you had to make a rainbow out of your OCs who would be Red,Orange,Yellow,Green,Blue,Indigo, and Violet?
You can only say one thing about your (current favourite) OC to get someone else interested, what is it?

Let’s say someone wants to make your OC cry. What would be the most effective thing to say?
Which OC of yours is most likely to have a vindictive speech? Is this character evil? How did the other OCs react if not?
Was listening to the Cuphead soundtrack and I remembered Conductor plays trombone (quite well; he was in his high school marching band and jazz ensembles when he was younger), so I whipped up a sloppy sketch quickly.
One of his favorite things to do is make bets with stationmasters that Engineer will make up time and arrive at their stations right on the dot when the train is delayed, and when they take him up on it and inevitably lose because Engineer is amazing at making up time he pops out of the staff car and plays Sad Trombone at them.

This is a story that might not actually be true that I found in a book I was scanning from the 1950s called Pioneer Railways and…well, it warranted this, I guess.
They’re best friends and adore each other so don’t expect any actual fighting.

Engineer is actually also a qualified mechanical engineer and does a lot of the maintenance on her own locomotive. (She’s driving because jobs were scarce in her field, go figure. She had steam experience from volunteer work at a heritage railway in college and went for her childhood dream job instead.)

No, nobody has names yet, I know.
L-R: Assistant Conductor, Engineer, Conductor, Brakeman.
And then more sketches of the Engineer and the Conductor because they’re the two I designed first.
Notes:
- Engineer has the same thyroid disorder I do - this is my first time depicting it in a character and I’m hoping it’ll help me come to terms with some things about how my body looks.
- Assistant Conductor has a girlfriend who works as one of the attendants at the crew’s home terminal.
- Brakeman is a bit younger than the other three and is the only one who knows how to use TikTok (the others prefer and miss Vine).
- Conductor played trombone in his high school marching band and very much still remembers how to play. Mostly he’ll play it for gags now, like doing the “When Mom Isn’t Home” meme or pretending to be a car motor.
- Conductor and Engineer are a great Splatoon duo and are helping the other two get through Octo Expansion so the entire crew can have the C.Q. Cumber hats when they play as a four-squid/octo team. The four of them spend a lot of time in the hotel when they’re at the away terminal working on this.
- For someone who’s so high-energy, Conductor is extremely organized and loves making spreadsheets and sorting things. One time he walked into an old records room at the home terminal and nearly died because it was so disorganized that nobody could find anything. (He took overtime and fixed it because he was mad.)
- Engineer hates how she looks because of her disorder and that’s why she hides it under the giant coat. As seen above she can’t handle any flirting or genuine affection and short-circuits.
