I once asked around if Outertale Sans has his own name, and apparently he has many: Izar, Cosmic, Orion, Pluto, Aster… or just Outer! Depends on who you ask.

It’s just my headcanon that most of the Sanses (and not only them, any other character too) kinda fine with their nicknames but like their real amnes more. So in that case Outertale!Sans knows his nicknames, but would be happier called just “Sans”.

For sure! I should have said ‘nickname’, which is what I meant :) the naming system came from the multiverse setting afterall, so folks interacting with them wouldn’t have to keep saying 'no, the other sans’! Sorry if you got confused!


I’ve been keeping my little eye on the tag and 'Wish’, 'Polaris’, and 'Comet’ are a few other names that popped up. I love these so much!!
