Behaviors that Reinforce Powerful Lessons; a slave’s perspective
Anyone that has followed Our blog for any length of time knows that my days are quite regimented. Master has very specific expectations that need to be met daily. Some are just because He can, i mean wouldn’t you if you could? Most, however, are to teach me things so that i may grow as a woman and slave.
The sexual tasks make sense to just about everyone. A slave is to be wet and ready for use at all times, right? So those are a no-brainer for the most part. What most people don’t understand are the non-sexual life tasks so here are a few of mine with explanations as to why He expects them.
*i park in the furthest spot from the door no matter the weather conditions when i’m out running errands.
- laziness is an abdominal trait and even more so for a slave. Walking a bit never killed anyone and its certainly more beneficial than sitting around. Walking through rain and snow, albeit unpleasant, teaches tolerance. The world is full of necessary un-pleasantries. Handling them with grace is a good thing.
*i clean Master’s home every day.
-> it has been proven that the human mind is less stressed when existing in an organized and clean environment. Both Master and myself have very stressful careers so having a place to silence the noise of the outside world is essential. By cleaning the house i’m aware of details and have learned the value of clear minded focus in a safe space.
*i am to monitor my activity and calories burned.
->i have struggled with body image my entire life. By monitoring these things i am able to see clear concrete data that i am doing the proper things to maintain a healthy body as well as maintain a healthy caloric intake. Healthy means that we’ll be in each other’s lives longer so i learned to value my health rather than my size.
*i am polite and gracious to every person i meet barring those that are abusive or disrespectful.
->i am a woman of intellect. Rudeness, loudness, vulgar language do nothing to display that. By putting forth the effort to be polite i am representing myself, as well as Him, in the best light possible and thereby, i am treated accordingly.
*i read at least one book a week.
->reading expands the mind. The concept of having a sex starved bimbo that has no thought or opinion is good in theory but in reality the majority of men dislike stupid women. Learning new things not only improves me but also gives Master a companion that is stimulating and engaging.
*i am clear and concise when i speak.
->By not cluttering my communication with unnecessary drivel i am not only taken more seriously when i speak, but i am rarely misunderstood. There are far better things that i can be doing with my time rather than rambling on about nonsense.
*i am to maintain a digital calendar for His viewing as well as a hand written day planner for my own use.
-> Organization and time management are valuable skills in maintaining a home as well as a productive professional life. Commitments must be kept, maintaining focus on the tasks at hand, and proper planning ensures that details are not overlooked. Maintaining a work/life balance makes for a balanced girl.
* i am to communicate any frustrations, questions and difficulties i am having with training regimes/expectations, professional situations, and interpersonal relationships.
-> Struggle is expected during periods of growth but if/when that struggle impedes the learning process then desired outcomes cannot be achieved. He is here to guide me through those thoughts and emotions but it is my responsibility to seek out that guidance rather than allow my stubbornness to elicit failure or disrupted relationships.
* i am to compliment at least 3 people per day.
-> as a submissive i know the joy of being told that i have done well. To pass along that joy not only serves to brighten someone’s day but it also encourages me to look for positive things in those around me. By seeing the positive it creates a more pleasant personal disposition.
* i am to complete monthly professional development academics.
-> By broadening my professional knowledge and being up-to-date on the developments in my field of work, i ensure that i continue to grow. It shows my employer my ambition and desire for success and places me in a position for career advancement.
* i am to maintain a hand written journal documenting the successes of the day.
-> Being too hard on oneself is a common trait among submissives. Often we see our shortcomings more than our attributes. By writing out the successes it allows me to reflect and encourages me to validate my own attributes. Acknowledging my strengths is just as important as acknowledging my weaknesses.
These are but a few of the seemingly simple expectations He’s placed upon me. He keeps me mindful of my behaviors, improves my intellect, nurtures my mental health, and pushes me to improve as a woman.
Everything i do directly reflects upon Him as a Husband, a Master, and as a Man. If i don’t do all that i can to show Him in the best light then i’m failing at my purpose. If i don’t to all that i can to show myself in the best light possible then i’m failing myself and if i don’t do all that i can to grow and improve then i’m failing as a servant.
