Maybe not entirely, but I wanted to let people know that we’ve started a new blog, which is going to be more skewed toward feminism, because that’s what we give a shit about.

after more than a year of activity, most of you will probably have figured out how my blog works: Phases of increased activity follow episodes of several weeks with little to no posting. That is due in part to my busy schedule and partly to the fact that during the summer, I decided to increase my posting quota to five pics a day, a decision that proved detrimental to my ability to post regularly. For that reason, I have decided to reduce the quota to three again, one to be posted in the morning and two in the evening (GMT+1). I hope you can live with this in exchange for what I hope will be an increased output.
On a different subject, I would like to point out again that when I say I ask for submissions, I mean neither pictures of a slut’s lower belly (seriously, have you looked at the title of this blog?) nor series of gifs clearly taken from porn with captions like “my sister likes my cock in her ass”. There are so many things wrong with that, I don’t even know where to start explaining.

After December 17th, porn is not allowed on Tumblr and they will be automatically hiding or deleting any content that has it.
Inevitably, some adult images will slip through the algorithmic censor.
They should not be interfered with. I’m not talking about mine, I’m talking about any of them, anywhere. These images are LUCKY, blessed by fate to escape the algorithm. Enjoying them will increase your luck as well.
Reporting NSFW content that survives on Tumblr after December 17th is bad luck, and makes you a bootlick besides. If you’re going to report anything, report perfectly tame SFW content to jam their report system and let the lucky porn pics survive even longer.
We have recently been made aware of the negative response to one of the prompt options for the EmiMike Zine. We acknowledge the parties’ concerns and have taken them into consideration as we prepare the zine.
We have decided to drop the word “mafia” from our descriptions, captions, and stories after this incident.
As the curator, I have encouraged all participants in the zine to read up on the matter in order to better educate ourselves, so we may be more sensitive to the issue and be able to make responsible choices in creating our art and stories.
We apologize for our oversight and hope everyone will still support and enjoy the book.

Recentemente abbiamo ricevuto un responso negativo ad uno dei prompt per la EmiMike Zine. Riconosciamo la preoccupazione delle persone che l'hanno sollevato e ne stiamo tenendo conto nella preparazione la zine.
Abbiamo quindi deciso di eliminare la parola “mafia” da tutte le descrizioni, didascalie e storie che fanno parte della zine.
Come curatrice ho incoraggiato tutti i partecipanti ad informarsi sull'argomento, in modo da essere più sensibili rispetto al problema e in modo da poter prendere delle decisioni responsabili nella creazione delle proprie illustrazioni e storie.
Ci scusiamo per la svista e speriamo che possiate continuare a supportare e apprezzare la zine.

As Halloween approaches, it is important to think of your pet’s (or pets’) safety. Keep them safe by keeping them indoors in the days before, during, and after Halloween. I recommend keeping them indoors unless supervised (harness walks, etc.) or in a catio at all times, but it’s especially important around certain holidays, and Halloween is one of them.
Keep them in a quiet room, away from candy, wrappers (many cats like to chew plastic, and small wrappers are a choking hazard), open flames like candles and jack o'lanterns, and to prevent them from bolting when you answer the door. Make sure they are microchipped AND have a collar with up-to-date tags (people can’t see a microchip, and may think your cat is feral/stray if they don’t see tags. Orange collars are best for indoor only cats, but the microchip is just as important since collars can come off. Use both). And share this post!

Every year I see dry ice marketed for use by campers, and it’s certainly effective for keeping things cooler longer, but I never see anyone talk about the fact that it’s a tick magnet, to the point that a cooler containing dry ice, even fully closed, is the go-to lure used by field researchers who WANT to attract as many ticks as possible. Here are some tick traps in action:
The fact that people are told to take dry ice with them into the woods, and not told that this is a thing, feels kind of glaring to me???
This happens because dry ice is solid carbon dioxide, and the carbon dioxide in our breath is what ticks use to track us. Not just ticks, either; mosquitoes and other blood-feeding organisms also rely on it. I’ve never been camping myself, but I imagine if you do use dry ice, you should keep it away from where you intend to sit, eat or sleep.
