I’m a Palauan illustrator and comic artist looking to make a series of short comics based on legends and traditional stories from the Pacific. Not something I’d be physically publishing or profiting off of, just a personal project I’d like to see come to life. I’m perfectly capable of doing the research myself but would prefer to make it more of a community project SO if you have roots in the Pacific and have a favorite tale you’d like to see in a 10-20 page comic format, please please please message me!! I’d love to hear from as many voices and cultures as possible!
People From The Place where Mu/lemuria was said to be .. Notice how they said the tonga man to some people resembles the american indian.. Also in a legend there states how Lemuria had Red Soil & those who seen past post know I speak about the autochthonous which means from the soil , hence we are the red people which is another shade of brown

Gotta respectfully disagree with the notion an ig friend mentioned awhile ago about the red covering being a fez h the side piece being a tassel… Granted i use to believe that moai top could be a fez , but the other day i started to looki into it..As u can see the sidest are ears moreso elongated … Our hair really is diverse though
Updated info I never uploaded..Same concept that the red top to the Moai heads are more than likely top knots..Also with the sides being ears..The pacific islands is full of red haired & long ear natives to add more
