Hello. Many things happened. Even though several months have passed, I’m still going through a long suffering adjustment period. My health condition hasn’t been its best, but I’m slowly working on a 58 page comic. It will be made into a zine and will be sold in a small convention in Korea. Hope everyone is managing fine. Best of luck!

Twin Peaks season 1 episode 5-6 and 7-8 spreads. Previous episode drawings are here! That was a nice way to end a season. I can imagine how the viewers must had felt when they had to wait for the second season after that!

Also, I had to think a bit about how I was going to do that “thumbs up” there!

Day 15 -  little scene

Felt tired and slow today! Drawing challenges can be hard on days when the enthusiasm/inspiration doesn’t feel there, but sitting down and just letting the mind wander, works too. :)

Day 15, a birthday card for a friend.

(Both of the couple really like tea, and it is a thing that we have long enjoyed spending time mulling over, with life the universe and everything! I have some awesome friends :) )
Her current favourite is Blue Star Earl Grey (from a local shop that specializes in loose leaf teas of all kinds!). Mine is standard “gumboot tea” (as we call it in New Zealand at least, meaning both ‘bog standard ordinary teabags, and something so strong it could have been brewed in one.)
I’m also fond of Chai, and Lady Grey, and Yorkshire tea too. And Dragon Well (Lung Ching), Peppermint/ginger/green as a combo, Sleepytime/Chamomile and current oddity, Feijoa tea.

(Day 14, absent on the tumblr, was a hasty scribble of a parrot in a spacesuit on the moon, which I have not posted here. But your imagination can do much better! <3 )  Cheers.

Day 10. The Cornish Teabiscuit.

A featherweight of the Gryphon family, the tiny gray-and-fawn Teabiscuit can be found warming itself against the side of a large porcelain teapot, when there is plentiful company on a lovely sunny day.  Although not averse to snaring a morsel of scone with cream and jam, it is quite particular in its tastes in this regard, preferring only scones that have jam first, THEN cream.

(Its equally miniscule cousin, the Devonshire Teabiscuit, looks identical but can be distinguished by its preference for cream BEFORE jam.)

Day 9 - the Ties of Dappy Squanks.
Mr Dappy Squanks, a small Caber of means. And ties. Probably had his genesis in thisdrawing from 2013′s inktober. Dappy is the caber you want for all the things you were not sure you needed but you do now!

(and for any of you who happen to see this and are freaking out that you’ve lost a day somewhere, fear not. It’s only day 9 in NZ, by an hour. I got this in early. :) )
