The Brother got his original “doodle” from @sirithfin today!
It is a fantastic likeness, and is going up on the wall soon! Many, many thank yous to @sirithfin for this wonderful sketch, it really captures the Brother beautifully and we are thrilled with it!

Trying to get a shot of the face of my Ayam Cemani hen, Nevar.
Nope.
Not happening. Lighting isn’t right. Photographer (me) lacks knowledge.
YES!!! She walked into a beam of light and looked up at the right time! She has a face! I think she is so pretty, but trying to capture Nevar’s expressions is challenging. I am hoping to learn much from this little hen.

Toad update: Toad’s new family has sent this photo to show how Toad is doing in his new home. Within two weeks he has managed to become the Wing-man to the Top Rooster. (That is the Top Roo just behind him.) Give Toad another month or so and who knows… there might be a “coop” and a new pecking order! Talk about something to crow about!
