The Pirate finds proof of Abel’s existence and Phule rewards them with a hat-item that’s 10 Billion crowns (like the actual hat, not the premium currency) stacked on top of each other.

It’s not even worth much gold when you sell it to an NPC.

THEORY TIME (pt. 2)

As I was looking through the caiman NPCs in Azteca, I noticed that the Storm Caiman said that he was a distant relative of Krokhotep. This was surprising, but it makes a lot of sense if you consider a 2 things: caimans and crocodiles are part of the same “family” of lizards in real life, and the character models for caimans and Kroks’ are incredibly similar in appearance.

However, this got me thinking and it reminded me that we don’t actually know the Kroks’ world of origin. All we know is that they came to what is now called Krokotopia and were taken care of by the native Manders, who they then enslaved.

So this is my theory: Azteca is the native world of the Kroks and they were originally (or can possibly still be considered) caimans. The main evidence for this theory is what I’ve already said: it’s canon that the caimans and Kroks are somehow related. But another piece of evidence lies in both of the worlds’ architecture. Both the Aztecasaurs and the Kroks built pyramids, and the names of these pyramids are very similar. For example, there is a “Chamber of Fire” in the Pyramid of the Sun (w101) and there is a “Chamber of Fire” in the Pyramid of Fire in Xol Akmul (p101). The Pyramid of White Fire in Aztecs is also similar sounding to the Pyramid of the Sun in Krokotopia, likewise with the Pyramid of Storm Eye and the Tomb of Storms. A third piece of evidence that makes me think that the Kroks are originally from Azteca is the fact that both cultures have mummies (and I believe are the only worlds to have mummies). Both the Aztecasaur mummies and the Krok mummies are wrapped in a similar way, as if bound with linen but with their eyes sticking out,

So, I believe that the Kroks (or formerly caimans), somehow broke off of the mainland of Azteca and floated their way over to the Manders’ world. Seeing that they could easily take over this new world, the Kroks enslaved the Manders and had them build them great monuments and tombs. And where did they learn of tombs and pyramids but from their own native world where the ruling Aztecans had already built their pyramids and mummified their dead. The Kroks kept their native culture in mind when they arrived in Krokotopia and strove to be kings.
