So…thanks to a couple of friends of mine, we came up with this AU idea that what if instead of the yamis being spirits in the items, they still have their bodies and are immortal? Well, that’s where this takes place. Atem, Bast, and Bakura still have their bodies but are immortal and linked to the Puzzle, Wand, and Ring respectfully. I will talk about Atem and Bast in another one. For this, Bakura along with a part of Zorc becomes linked to the Ring. Bakura still maintains his human self but Zorc tried to control him throughout the years. It isn’t until the Ring has been disturbed that Bakura goes to see young Ryou and his father. After the Ring rejects Ryou’s father, and Ryou picks it up, that’s when things go haywire. And in the end, Bakura has to look after the now orphan Ryou. And because of this, he ends up caring for the boy, despite his best efforts. It also starts to make him reject the parasite Zorc. This picture would take place after Bakura finally manages to get rid of Zorc. While he may be free, he ends up having nightmares and this is where he shows his vulnerable side. Baby Ryou trying to comfort him is so cute. T-T Like no joke, I think Bakura would make a great dad if he wasn’t fuzed with Zorc. Poor guy needs a family.
