#please put us out of our misery

I actually don’t know how to feel about this.

I know that he created the characters, but I really wish he would just leave the Netflix versions of them alone. He has the money and success from the original comics, why does he have to keep milking this adaptation that he already absolutely ruined? And to rename it, to try and ‘rebrand’ it? Just cut your losses man, this is so tacky.

The only reason I’d read it is to see how he writes his way out of the ending of the last season. Obviously Sabrina would have to come back from the dead somehow, (and Nick?). There were just so many plot holes and things that didn’t add up, I don’t see how he could do this. Honestly, I was relieved when I thought it was over for good, I wrote my fix it fic and went on in peace.

I don’t want to see any more of his terrible writing he tries to paint as ‘progressive’ and ‘feminist’. He ruined some of my favorite characters of all time, and ended the show in the worst possible way after a god awful last season. I really don’t want to see what he has planned next, and I hope he doesn’t turn this into a whole new show in two years when there’s no longer a hold on the Sabrina character.

I’d be interested to hear other’s thoughts on this. But I would’ve been content leaving the Netflix show to die, despite my love for the characters and actors.
