POKEDDEX 2016: KEEPIN THE TRADITION ALIVE I haven’t seen a Gen7/Alola updated version anywhere so I decided to make my own! Feel free to use this as your guide for this years #POKEDDEX! Be sure to tag your artwork so that everyone can follow along with everyone’s awesome art. Have fun!
Note: I did not specify “favourite” types–I feel that everyone should have a bit of freedom to draw a pokemon of that type they’ve never drawn before! Feel free to interpret it as you will! :)
I always see a variation of this floating around in December, so I’ve decided to do my own Pokemon challenge of sorts.
31 Pokemon perler bead sprites in 31 days!
The types will not necessarily match up with the above prompts simply because I don’t want 31 Pokemon sprites floating around the house, so they’re being made as gifts for friends and family. (But it’s a super cute guide, so please feel free to use it if you’re inclined to join in with your own art! <3)
Just the finished photos on these, I really don’t want to drive myself bonkers doing the documentation I normally do for my Tuesday/Thursday posts. Weekly posts will be going up as normal.
Feraligatr - Hermione Granger may be one of the good guys, but she is absolutely ruthless and would need a starter (totodile) that evolves into a creature just as ruthless as she is.
Eevee - I feel like Hermione would admire Eevee for all it could be, but decide not to evolve it so as to not pigeonhole it into one type.
Meowstic - I don’t know why but of all the cat inspired Pokémon this one reminds me the most of Hermione’s cat, Crookshanks.
Alakazam - Of course the brightest witch of her age would have one of the smartest Pokémon ever on her team.
Dragonite - There’s literally no explanation for this one except it just gives off the sort of vibe I think Hermione would like.
Celebi - With Celebi, Hermione won’t need to use a time turner. Also, she would definitely have at least one legendary on her team.
I realize know this team is very heavy on the psychic types, that’s kind of funny considering her aversion to divination.
