#pokemon oc
a timelapse! i’ve been having fun thinking up characters with friends: this is my pokemon oc, Pigeon (they/them). they have a really old altaria and a mischievous, strong-willed venipede for companions.
this doesn’t really reveal much about them (they have a pretty tame outward demeanor, usually), i just wanted to draw a serious character/season arc “teaser” for Pigeon heheh
My friend gifted me some pokemon cards at an outdoor BBQ and you really don’t know how much a quarantine hits you until they hand you two little cards that reminded them of you.
It made be want to draw pokemon again, all pokemon based on merch I own, except monferno. She’s my first starter from my first game so she’s with me.

Also you know I had to do it. I had to do the silly “to be continued” thing. I couldn’t not. Bwahahaha! Ah, I have no self control. But- le gasp! Where is Brock? Where is Misty!? Where is Ansem!?
Also I’m like so tempted to keep El in her little sailor outfit because of how cute it looks on her, but also I think I’m gonna give the main trio new outfits around Celadon City. If you’re going to take down Team Rocket, you gotta do it in style, and quite frankly El and Blue’s outfits get torn to hell and back and Brock can only fix them up so many times. El’s grown a bit anyway, so a new outfit is due. She’s about five foot now in this point of time.
Also yes her left wrist is supposed to look that funky, I promise. It broke years ago and never healed properly.

THE INGO SMOOCH I PROMISED.
Ingo deserves all of the smooches, and his cute little balding head is the perfect spot for them. Mwah.
The OC is Steven’s oldest kid from years after the events of ORAS and Platinum. Yes, his name is Ienzo. XD Ienzo prefers dark-type and psychic-type pokemon, hence his outfit.
Ienzo and Amelia probably start their pokemon journey late into their teens, when they’re both like… what? Eighteen and Fifteen?… at the insistence of their parents. They don’t meet Ingo and Emmet until they’re in the twenties and have already travelled through all of Hoenn, Johto, and Kanto. Amelia was originally gonna be paired with N, but now I’m obsessed with the twins so who knows. I might stick her with Emmet instead.
WHICH WOULD ADD MORE ANGST WHEN AMELIA AND INGO GET DROPPED INTO THE PAST MWAHAHAHAHAHA.
Emmet and Ienzo pull a Steven and start conspiracy theory-ing trying to figure out what happened to the two. Amelia freaking just loses her mind when she sees amnesiac Ingo because oh godsit was bad enough she was there, but Ingo is too!? And he remembers nothing?Well, he finds her familiar at least but what the FRICK is happening, yo.
Arceus, pick up the darn pokedex phone- Amelia has questions!

More Hisui protag garbo - I’m using one of my empty sketchbooks as like a “here’s where I’m gonna draw silly things of my protag like it’s a field journal!” type deal. So expect more of these!

Wanted to compile my pokemon OCs together in one post. Hope you guys enjoy them! I really liked making them.
Rylie: A Psychic gym leader, Rylie is a professional clown gifted with esper powers. Unlike most psychics, the more positive emotion she has, the stronger her powers. Thus she’s always happy when putting on a show for her audience or for the trainers she battles. (Battle gimmick, Singles, Trick Room, Dual Screens, Trick, moves that generally are crafty and indirect)
Steely Crits: A Steel gym leader, Steely is a content creator that offers a wide array of entertainment whether it be doing daredevil stunts, pokemon contents, eating challenges, or even the classic ‘Steely Reacts!’ series. He’s dedicated to his craft but is not to be taken lightly in pokemon battles as well. (Battle gimmick, Double Battles, Earthquake+Protect, Stealth Rocks+Roar)
Yosemi: A Ground gym leader, Yosemi is a professional volleyball player who spends most of her time at the beach. She’s a single mother who takes care of her child while on the job, and while she’s normally very caring towards others she’s a complete monster in sports and pokemon battles. She’s incorporated water into her gym to signify the ocean and the sand, thus all her pokemon are water/ground types. (Battle gimmick, Curse, Bulk Up, Stat Dropping, Focus Sash+Reversal to deal with trainers who think a Grass Type is enough to beat her)
Kairo: A professional masseuse who helps both people and pokemon, she comes from a background where pokemon were abused by people in the seedy underbellies of the world. She’s fantastic at her job albeit very rough, hence the process of the massage can be fairly painful. You and your pokemon, however, leave feeling stronger and refreshed by the end of the session. If pushed to battling, she leans towards fire and fighting types.
