The new outfits they’ll be getting after reaching Celadon City! Courtesy of Blue’s older sister, Daisy, who apparently likes to shop there for tea. Blue and Misty both have a sister named Daisy and it amuses me greatly. El finally cuts her hair off so Team Rocket can’t grab it and use it against her anymore. I almost put Blue in his aviator jacket that he wears in Masters, buuuut I really like the look of this outfit. I just made it blue instead of purple… because… y’know… he’s BLUE.
Hilariously, compared to El and Brock, Blue looks like he preferred fashion over function and you know what? It works. He’s done travelled forever ago. He’s just here to stop these two newbies from getting themselves killed. He’s cocky. If you’re gonna stop Team Rocket, you gotta do it in style. Besides, his sister’s a Pokemon Contest star. He’s obviously picked up a few things from her over the years.
Anyway. That aside.
Have some squad memes and random doodles. Because the trio is just so strongly MEMEABLE despite the fic itself being rather serious/dark in nature.
I said it before in a text post so I’m just going to copy and paste my thoughts here: As far as I’m concerned Pokemon Let’s Go Eevee and Pikachu is a hundred dollar game. I don’t see how anyone is playing this without the Pokeball Plus accessory. Also I really like this game. I think this is a welcome refresh of the series. I feel like it’s a Pokemon game that finally respects my time as a player and an adult.
Made a similar post like this back when it was revealed that you could unlock the partner Pokémon spirits in Smash Bros Ultimate, and I fangirled that Samus was going to team up with my Eevee.
But I had her posing with just a normal Eevee plushie. I finally got a plushie of my actual partner Eevee! This is exactly what she wears in game and of course I had to take pictures of Samus with my Eevee.
Progress photos of my Sylveon Goddess cosplay that I’m doing for Saboten this year. Still need to work on the bodysuit and the staff. Can’t wait to see my eevee ladies and to see it all put together and finished! Artwork and inspiration by @littlepaperforest
To get the highest chance of catching a shiny, you need a combo of at least 31. This means catching ONLY the Pokemon type that you want to find. I caught only Growlithes. There’s a couple rules to follow:
1. You can encounter other Pokemon, but you must run away - this will keep your combo intact.
2. If you encounter the Pokemon of your combo, you must catch them. If you - or they- run away, then the combo is broken.
3. You can leave the area. You can go battle other trainers. You can buy more pokeballs. You can save, but if you close the game, it will break your combo. I tried loading up an earlier save where I still had a combo, and it didn’t work.
4. You obviously cannot catch any other Pokemon types.
It took me about 3-4 hours to get my shiny Growlithe (just below Cerulean City). I stocked up on great balls because they were a little tough to catch at times and tended to be flighty. The shiny will show up shiny in the overworld, and sparkling.
If you guys like Pokemon Remixes, check out my girlfriend’s Youtube page :D
She just recently made a remix of Pallet Town for Pokemon Let’s Go!, and I would appreciate it if you would take a listen [: Or even a like on the video helps!
Been drawing some Pokémon: Let’s Go Eevee stuff while testing out my new graphics tablet and messing around with Autodesk Sketchbook instead of Photoshop lately.
Hopefully will get back to posting more art soon, but for now, I am infiltrating Team Rocket by wearing a shirt with a red R on it. It will totally work.
