1. Denial: “This can’t be real! It must be fake/photoshopped!”
2. Anger: “Why did they do this to him? I will never be able to see him in the same light ever again!”
3. Bargaining: “It just doesn’t make sense he’s aged so much, it contradicts so many things we learned about him in the game. I don’t accept this as canon. ;__;”
4. Depression: “If he’s balding now, imagine how many years must have passed since he’s come to Hisui - and he still clings to his forgotten past so much!”
5. Acceptance: “No matter if the artbook is canon or not, Ingo still deserves all the love, support and compassion because nothing really changed about his situation.”
After all the angst and sadness in the Submas fandom since Pokémon Legends came out, I decided to visualize what their reunion could look like. They deserve to be happy ;___;

Oh, just to be clear, the two are still the same age. Ingo just aged a lot faster due to the harsh living conditions in Hisui.

I dedicate this comic to @chipsncookies who inspired me to buy Pokémon Legends Arceus after all.
Just to suffer, apparently. When I saw one of my all-time favourite characters stranded in the past with no memory of his brother and Pokémon it broke my heart. So now I draw stupid comics to cope. ;__;
I must say, I do however love the fact that the whole fandom seems to have agreed that Arceus is just a huge, selfish jerk who abducts people at random.
Speaking of Ingo, I’ve been really enjoying the fic Misery Loves Company by @dooblebugs so here are some sketches. I’m a sucker for found family and I love how they have been characterizing Ingo and Dawn.
