Sinnoh Pokémon→Luxray, the Gleam Eyes Pokémon

Luxray(Japanese:レントラーRentorar) is a quadrupedal Pokémon resembling a fully-grown lion. Much of its body is covered with blue and black fur. The fur is longer around the shoulders and the base of the tail, and forms a mane on its head. The mane is larger on the male than on the female. It has yellow eyes with red sclerae, which change color when it uses abilities. Luxray has powerful eyesight that is capable of seeing through most objects and walls. It uses this ability to hunt and keep track of its offspring. However, this ability requires a lot of electricity to use, so Luxray needs to sleep for long periods of time in order to regain its energy.

Sinnoh Pokémon→Luxio, the Spark Pokémon

Luxio(Japanese:ルクシオLuxio) is a feline, quadrupedal Pokémon resembling a young lynx or lion. Blue and black fur covers most of its body, and it has a tufty black mane surrounding its face. The mane is longer on the male Luxio, while the fur on the hind paws extends to the ankles on the female. Luxio lives in small groups, where they’re able to generate electricity by gathering their tails together. They are known to be kind enough to share the spoils from a hunt to its own kind.

Sinnoh Pokémon→Shinx, the Flash Pokémon

Shinx(Japanese:コリンクKolink) is a quadrupedal, feline Pokémon. Its front half is light blue, while the rear is black. There is a short tuft of fur on its head and smaller tufts on each cheek. Electricity is produced by the extension and contraction of muscles in its forelegs. Excited trembling is a sign that Shinx is generating tremendous amounts of electricity. It can send signals to other Shinx by shaking the tip its tail while it shines brightly. Taming a Shinx is said to take great patience.

Sinnoh Pokémon→Kricketune, the Cricket Pokémon

Kricketune(Japanese:コロトックKorotock) is a is a bipedal Pokémon with an insectoid appearance. Black feelers with curled tips extend from either side of its nose, similar in appearance to a mustache. The male’s mustache is longer than a female’s. This Pokémon’s arms are shaped similar to its antennae and are crossed over its chest when it cries. It can also allow its cry to resonate in its belly. Kricketune’s melodic cry varies greatly and can be used to signal its emotions.

Sinnoh Pokémon→Kricketot, the Cricket Pokémon

Kricketot(Japanese:コロボーシKorobohshi) is a bipedal, bug-like Pokémon. The majority of its body is red with a streak down its front and black cape-like marking on its back. Its head is encircled with a flat, white structure similar to a collar. A female has a bigger collar than a male. By shaking its head and rubbing its antennae together, it is able to create a xylophonic sound that it uses to communicate.

Sinnoh Pokémon→Bibarel, the Beaver Pokémon

Bibarel(Japanese:ビーダルBeadaru) is a bulky, bipedal Pokémon similar to a beaver. Brown fur covers most of this Pokémon with a tan circle on its chest. Its short, dark brown snout has a small red nose and protruding upper incisors. These teeth are used for chewing trees. It is slow-moving and awkward out of the water, but a swift swimmer.

Sinnoh Pokémon→Bidoof, the Plump Mouse Pokémon

Bidoof(Japanese:ビッパBippa) is a brown, rodent-like Pokémon with four short legs. Bidoof uses its incisors for gnawing on wood and rocks. They grow constantly, so it needs to gnaw on these hard substances to keep them ground down. Bidoof can be found nesting in groups near bodies of water. Despite its stout body, it can be agile and is not easily perturbed.

Sinnoh Pokémon→Staraptor, the Predator Pokémon

Staraptor(Japanese:ムクホークMukuhawk) is a grayish-brown, avian Pokémon similar to a large bird of prey. A red-tipped, black crest extends over its head, nearly reaching the tip of its beak. Staraptor is fussy about the shape of this comb, which it uses to appear larger and frighten enemies. Upon evolution, it leaves its flock to live alone. It can be highly aggressive, persistently attacking even larger foes in spite of illness or injury.

Sinnoh Pokémon→Staravia, the Starling Pokémon

Staravia(Japanese:ムクバードMukubird) is a grayish-brown, avian Pokémon with black and white markings. On its face is a white, mask-like marking with a pattern of spikes along the lower edge.  Staravia lives near forests and fields, where it hunts for Bug Pokémon. It forms flocks with its own kind, but these flocks can be extremely territorial. When two different groups meet, they will have fierce disputes.

Sinnoh Pokémon→Starly, the Starling Pokémon

Starly(Japanese:ムックルMukkuru) is an avian Pokémon with primarily grayish-brown plumage. There is a white marking on its face, resembling a mask, and a white spot on its chest. Its diet includes small bug Pokémon, Cherubi, and the acorn-like berries grown on the bushes of Grotle. Although capable of flapping its wings powerfully, Starly is weak and inconspicuous when alone. They congregate in mountains and fields.

Sinnoh Pokémon→Empoleon, the Emperor Pokémon

Empoleon(Japanese:エンペルトEmperte) is a navy blue, penguin-like Pokémon. It has a wide, yellow beak that extends upward into three pointed horns that form a trident-shaped crest. Large horns are a symbol of leadership and strength for Empoleon. It has wide, flipper-like wings with three golden claws on their underside. The edges of these wings can slice through ice floes, and Empoleon will use them to attack anyone or anything that damages its pride.

Sinnoh Pokémon→Prinplup, the Penguin Pokémon

Prinplup(Japanese:ポッタイシPottaishi) is a blue, penguin-like Pokémon. It is mostly dark blue with a light blue lower body, facial markings and wing tips. Instead of arms, it has long, flipper-like wings that are capable of knocking over and snapping trees.

Sinnoh Pokémon→Piplup, the Penguin Pokémon

Piplup(Japanese:ポッチャマPochama) is a light blue, penguin-like Pokémon covered in thick down to insulate against the cold. It has a strong sense of self-pride. As a result, it has a hard time accepting food from humans and bonding with its caretakers. It lives along the seashore in colder climates.

Sinnoh Pokémon→Infernape, the Flame Pokémon

Infernape (Japanese:ゴウカザルGoukazaru) is a bipedal, primate-like Pokémon that is primarily reddish-brown with sections of white fur on its chest, head, and lower legs. On top of its head is a large flame, which is never extinguished. This quick Pokémon practices a unique kind of martial art that involves all of its limbs. This style uses fiery punches and kicks as well.

Monferno(Japanese:モウカザルMoukazaru) is a bipedal, primate-like Pokémon. Orange and tan fur cover most of its body. Its long tail has a flame burning at the tip. The fire on its tail can be stretched in order to make Monferno appear larger. The size of its flame, in combination with the brightness of its facial marking, indicates this Pokémon’s position in its pack. The bigger the flame and the brighter the pattern, the higher the Pokémon’s position.

Sinnoh Pokémon→Chimchar, the Chimp Pokémon

Chimchar(Japanese:ヒコザルHikozaru) is a bipedal Pokémon resembling a chimpanzee.  Its fur is primarily shades of orange and light yellow. It has a tail made of flames, which are produced by burning gas in its stomach. These flames burn weakly when it feels ill. It lives on the rocky ledges of tall mountains.

Sinnoh Pokémon→Torterra, the Continent Pokémon

Torterra(Japanese:ドダイトスDodaitose) is a tall, bulky, quadrupedal Pokémon resembling a tortoise. There is a single, oak-like tree and three triangular, stony extensions resembling mountain peaks on the top of its shell. Although they’ve been known to migrate in search of water, they are typically immobile.

Sinnoh Pokémon→Grotle, the Grove Pokémon

Grotle(Japanese:ハヤシガメHayashigame) is a quadrupedal Pokémon with light green skin and a large shell composed of hardened soil covering its back. It lives in forests but leaves during the day to allow more sunlight on its trees. A Grotle that lives in the forest has its own secret springwater.
