I really want Ash and Goh to meet Hop in the show. I think they’d be good friends. (and assuming in the show’s timeline Hop still wants to be Champion he and Ash could be friendly rivals lol)
the superstar of kalium’s team, mason ovo she really takes after her trainer - loves singing and dancing, and has a little bit of a mischievous streak. she’s psychically synched with kalium and often in battle she will mimic kalium’s every gesture and little dance - sometimes with kalium knowing, and sometimes not lmao.

You’re here to see just how good, huh? Champion or no, I’m not holding back against anyone!”
More Battle Peak representatives! I’m tired of Orre being ignored by the main series games, so I decided to give the region some love. This (mostly) desert region is represented in the Battle Peak by Matt, a Pre-Gym member who has helped to rehabilitate former Shadow Pokemon and caring for them during trauma recovery. He’s got quite the knack for dealing with such Pokemon in a manner that is best for them, especially when some of them seem to relapse briefly. Unlike with Lian, I made Matt knowing full well there was already a canon Matt (notably the Team Aqua admin), but like I said with them, people are allowed to have the same name as one another in a fictional universe so large as Pokemon. Besides, Matt is such a common name anyway in the real world (or at least in English-speaking countries), why not in the Pokemon world? Especially in a region that’s based on somewhere in the US, like Orre?
Given that Battle Peak is a Battle Tower-esque setup, Matt’s team is slightly randomized depending on what battle conditions you have set. He will select either three (for single battles) or four (for double battles) from their “full” team of six. He will always include Skarmory on his team, and the rest of their team can include Hariyama, Ambipom, Altaria, Yanmega, or Absol.
…I have a small feeling that we may be seeing Matt again at some point. Sato too, definitely sooner than Matt. But maybe someday…we’ll see Matt again, this time on his home turf :3c

The Professor of the Qamor region, Ava Zamia! A Pokemon geneticist and biologist, Professor Zamia’s research focuses on studying Pokemon biodiversity and natural selection- creating breakthroughs in Pokemon dichotomy she wants to understand how Pokemon are related to one another physically, environmentally, and genetically. The main goal of her Research is to currently find a link between Humans and Pokemon-if one exists at all- and discover what caused the two species to split genetically during the process of Darwinian Evolution. Her research has been very confusing lately as Human and Pokemon share very little DNA, making her quest to discover the common ancestor between people and Pokemon extremely difficult.
Professor Zamia is the Mother of your rival Caden, and wife of Professor of Anthropology at Pokemon University Donovan Zamia. She was previously also a professor at the university and personal mentor to Mara’s father and the Protagonists’ mother, they became close friends as well as colleagues and continue their research independently in Pebueblo Town.
FINALLY got around to a full-body ref of Thuyet so I could post him to Art Fight… it was originally just gonna be him but Nebula and Contessa butted in and who am I to deny them?
